How far does an ex-TER member’s review go…

Suppose a gal’s first review was with a long time TER member who, unfortunately, was no longer with the TER community due to banishment :( . Would that review still be accepted but on a more informal level? Would that be a way to help that lady finally get accepted into this community? Thanks for the insight. As always, kisses…giamarie

Actually, a banished "former" member...  I'm surprised it's still visible.  But it that is the only review, I'd discount it & see what more recent reviews show.  NO other reviews?  Back to TOFTT.  Eventually, she'll get reviews by current members.  If she needs reviews, she could try advertizing on the local board & participating on the message boards to get known.

If she were also banned then she could not get reviews & the old ones would be taken down.  This is usually for review fraud, letting persons use your computer for reviews, things like that.

Some ladies ask for their reviews to be hidden, due to legal issues like divorce & custody, and they can be restored.

If the guy was well known, it would be helpful.  The problem is that if he's an unknown to the CURRENT people looking at the reviews, then he's just some guy and you have one review.  Each day that goes by, he becomes less relevant.

Hi Gia Marie - it's really not about acceptance at all but about credentials. This requires being reviewed several times by TER members, preferably with some standing in terms of their number of reviews. This should not be difficult as beautiful as you are and as interesting as you sound (I checked your website). I would advise that you advertise weekly on your local board (read the board policies listed at the top of the page) and participate in some of the discussions on your local board but also on the newbie board. Also a good idea to read the newbies manual if you have not already. TER is quite welcoming - we're not at all about excluding anyone. We're here to make the sport safer and more rewarding for everyone concerned. Oh, and, welcome!

I probably should have worded that differently. Either way, thanks for the information. ~Giamarie
