I just joined Preferred 411 to assist me in my hobbying. I think it is safer than risking myself out there without the reviews and added screening. What are your thoughts on Preferred 411? Have any of you had any positive or negative experience with this hobbying screening service? I am trying to prevent legal troubles with LEO's because of my hobbying.

You are only giving out your personal information one time, rather than to several providers. Plus, being based in Canada, there is little, or nothing, that LE can do with the information.

is that RS2K is limited to the midwest. That is where it's widely used, and almost gospel. The others, (Date-Check, Preferred411) are national, and for someone who travels a lot, they can be a valuable tool.

I'm not quite sure what you think P411 is going to do for you.  Basically it will let you refrain from providing personal/work info for screening purposes.  Though you can still accomplish this by simply using provider references.  Its a bit less hassle with the verification services.

What the services will not do is guarantee good service or even protect you completely from a sting.  Reviews on this site are the best source for that.  I use date-check and think the staff there is very helpful and conscientious, but I don't you'll hear them claim that they are 100% sure the ladies who are members are guaranteed.  It's very difficult to verify the legitimacy of a provider when they don't have work info they can provide for verification.  Date-check appears to rely on references from other verified providers as well as client members.  It's not foolproof.  Though not much is in this hobby.

411preferred servers are in Dallas, which is in the US and readily accessable by US authorities. I looked them up. Also, I was just encouraged to speak with clients over the phone or in email if I didnt' remember them. They actually told me to do this sending me a name and number. I was told that I would be disabled if I didn't. I did some searching and found out info about the company...and realized that they are not very secure based on their business structure and figured that I was safer not being in the data base anyway...

So if you have anything to lose in this world...please take caution. No one really knows how secure a site is or who it is who is compiling data. 411 seems to me to be a huge liability waiting to happen, and if a girl is coerced into calling or emailing and speaking of sessions in order to keep her status, well, to me it's a time bomb waiting to happen...thanks...kristen
