1. P411 is Preferred411, a verification site, for us guys so that the girls know we are ok to see.
2.  Sites like P411, Datecheck, and RoomService2000, are all sites that verify you as a safe client for providers to see.

They all will work with you o verifying you as a safe client, but you may have to give up some work info.  It's better to give it to them than giving it to several providers, but that's up to you.  If they contact your workplace, they will pose as maybe a Dr's ofc verifying an appt.  They are not going to compromise your identity or theirs.  They are just trying to make sure you really work there, which means you are prob not LE.

How you solve the dilemma is up to you.

Please read the self help section foound by the lifesaver.  Then read back on this board until you can answer every question without peeking.  These exact same questions are asked over & over.  And all this is free.  After you have the lay of the land, come back with specific questions.

I just did P411 and they were very discreet.  They called my office posing as my dentist and I called back and spoke to a super-friendly lady. Easy peasy!

That was a little harsh...   hope it was tonge in cheek (or where ever).   The newbie board is supposed to be more gentle on the pilgrims.
But yes, each person must do their own reading.  Until you have a base education, you can not comprehend the details of the hobby.  No one can do this for you.  And you must filter everything through your own needs & circumstances.
When I started...  before I found TER, I promised myself I'd not do anything "stupid".  As I read here I realized I'd not been careful enough.  I'd even done a few stupid things.  But I'd been lucky.  LUCK is not a plan!

I recall back in those early days when CL still had escort ads...  a VERY PO'd guy ranting about a provider.   I happened to know the young lady & his rants revealed the rest.  He'd emailed the provider in response to her ad.  She answered his email.  His message came from a shared computer & his wife had access to his email.  Wife found the reply before he did & kicked the guy out...  and he hadn't even met the young lady yet!
He failed to see the fault was his & proceeded to hound her until she dropped out of sight.   He made a lot of threats & false accusations & she was relieved because she would have feared for her safety had he known her location.   This has left a lasting impression with me.  That guy made one bone-head move...  I'd made slightly different bone-head moves...  but I was LUCKY.  I repeat, LUCK is not a plan.
