When my dates have changed, I've just added a reply that corrects the dates I'm visiting, or announces a change.
And I'm not sure how much of a factor this is, but the Carolinas mod is pretty easy going and flexible - I think he's a little (or a lot) more accommodating than some of the other mods. The Carolinas board is pretty active, though.
But no, I don't think she can delete and repost due to the 7 day rule, which is fair, I think. Frankly, it would annoy me if someone could get back up on top just because their plans changed.
Got a question. I posted an advertisement about 3 day ago announcing my brief tour in the Carolinas. I'm wondering since it is such a brief tour, unless I'm convinced to extend, if I can delete the previous post and begin a new post. Or do I just add the the where's and when's now that I know them. Question to you guys....how often do you look past the first page? Thanks a bunch!
My first thought would be that no, you cannot delete first ad and post another in its place. Since you are still moderated, your post would have to go thru the Carolinas mod, and he would know that you had posted an ad within the previous 7 days, and be forced to disapprove the new one.
If your ad gets pushed off the first page, most guys will not go searching for it, as they would have no reason to do so. I don't know how busy the Carolinas board is, but if it's slow, your ad could stay on the first page for a few days.
I also don't think you can add on to the existing ad either, but you might contact admin about that. However, if your ad is off the first page of the board, it would probably be pointless to add onto it.
