I am new as well, so take my advice with a grain of salt. Maybe you can "tour" locally with another provider and get some reviews. Post on your local board with a competitive rate. Put up a pic or two with your post. Also, do you have a website?  I look for certain services when I select a lady and will not see someone who does not offer what I want (GFE, BBBJ). I use the reviews to confirm the services. Reviews also reduce concerns about LE.  Are you near Baltimore/Washington?  Maybe I can give you a review:)  Look to Mr. Fisher and others on these boards. They know what they're doing. I regard their posts highlly. (Please don't tell them I said this, their heads are pretty big already, LOL)

Hello. So I have been scanning the newbie boards for advice and see that a lot of "hobbyists" will not see a provider without reviews. Well, how does one go about getting reviews without people willing to see them? I am not new to this concept, just haven't met with gentlemen under these direct circumstances in order to ask them for a review.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

~ Marilyn

but back to you Marilyn:

My suggestion in addition to the good advice from FF above is to mix it up on the boards regularly, especially on your local board.

This way the guys who read TER and write reviews will get to know you and take a chance with you.

I've seen many a gal as a result of this.

Also, ask to attend local meet and greet functions.  That's another way to meet prospective clients.

It can take a bit of time but after a while, things will start to roll for you if you put your best effort into this.

Best wishes to you.

You can't offer services in exchange for a specific (i.e. good) review, but if you advertise on the local TER board you could offer a discount to TER members until you get some pre-determined number of reviews, say 5.

There are some negative incentives there, but you get the idea. Basically, get creative about ideas to encourage guys to visit you AND write reviews.

Thanks. Yes, I have a website. It is currently being approved by TER so I wont post the url. Makes sense about why reviews are important. I am actually in Los Angeles but when I head east to look at Grad Schools I will keep you in the loop ;)

There's a grad school for this??!!!! I hope you do well on your GFE-AT exam. (I don't mind helping you study.)

First let me welcome you to TER. It's always great to see new providers asking questions. Where are you from?

The best way to get a review is to ask for them. At the end of a session just say something like, "I wouldn't mind a review, if you are so inclined." I don't write a review unless I feel I need to warn people about a provider or I know she wants one. So letting clients know you want one.

Now anther way to increase your odds of getting reviews is to advertise on review sites. You can put a ad on your local regional board weekly. It stands to reason people on a review site are more likely to review you than those that are not on one.

My last suggestion is to put in your ad at the escort malls you are looking for reviews. If you have a website put the TER banner and other links to other review sites on your opening page and add you would love some reviews on these sites. It will make it easier for your client to find the review sites you want reviews on. Also the TER banner is required to be able to post a link to your website in your posts and ads on TER. Also posting regularly will increase your exposer and the odds of someone taking the plunge and seeing you so they can review you.

Useful links for providers learning this game and TER.

is to see well-reviewed ladies.  This is safer for them.

Veteran hobbyists on the other hand, will sometimes see a new lady if the lady perks their interest.  Mrfisher's post is right on.  I have seen ladies that have caught my eye after reading their posts and checking their web site.

Now, if you were in Florida, maybe we could meet.

Marilyn,

In your ad, say that you don't currently have reviews as you're new, but looking for them.  Hell, that peaked my interest right away.  At least it's a start and we know that you're at least trying to be honest.

Great, thanks everyone! I am based in Los Angeles at the moment. I am getting my site approved by TER and when it goes through I will definitely post on the regional board.

Hello Marilyn. Welome to TER and good luck!
