Something like this ought to be spelled out on her rate page on her website.

In any case, I'd probably go along with it and if you feel the same way, then why deprive yourself?  But if you feel strongly about it, then you'd be justified in cancelling over it.  She might just withdraw it this one time.

A parking charge or whatever charge would be factored into the fee. Most ladies charge extra for parking and gas.

I have heard it called a travel fee or a trip charge but never a parking fee.  
 

Never heard of it described as "parking" fee though.

It all comes down to, how bad do you want to see her. Pay the parking fee if you do or say "No thanks." and pass on her if you don't. She may be testing you or she can be thinking she will have to pay a driver to take her and then pick her up after. You'll never know and it's not very polite to ask. Don't be a dick regardless of which choice you make.

where several providers charged extra for incall. I assume it is because the norm there is outcall and providers do not normally get hotel rooms themselves.

Was overnighting at an airport hotel and the provider (somewhat apologetically) asked for a moderate increase to cover parking during the outcall.

Every now and then I visit a hotel that valet is required and you have to pay for it.Not a big deal to me I don't ask for additional money.
I live in las vegas where parking for the most part is free if you self-park and $5-10 if you valet I usually valet(this is your choice on the amount this is what I generally tip valet).But the lady you mentioned charging an extra 50 because your hotel is downtown that should be specified on her website or ad.
That way there is no miscommunication imagine if you had not confirmed her rate first(although I do advise guys to check ads/website for rate info many ladies do not want to talk rate)you would be surprised when she asks for the additional money because of your location.It can make things awkward at this point.
Maybe the 50 is covering her cab or gas money maybe downtown is very far from where she is coming from.
It should be stated in an ad or website so everyone is on the same page.

It kind of sounds like she's trying to say it's an outcall charge and maybe she wouldn't be charging it if she didn't hate trying to find parking downtown. It may cost to park and she may have to walk a ways in uncomfortable shoes or sucky weather, who knows. Seems fair depending on how she looks and was.

quibble over the $50 but you need to do what you need to do.

A lady who only charges 250 an hour for outcall in a major metropolitan city certainly can't make any money if she has to pay exorbitant transportation or parking fees.  I think it would be unusual and downright tacky for a 500/hr gal to try to nickel and dime expenses, but for ladies working at lower rates I think it would be expected, to pass on expenses like that.

I would expect a lady at that rate in a major metropolitan city to try to recoup some of her expenses. I have had ladies ask for taxi fare and things like that to come see me in an outcall appointment. The higher rate ladies should factor it in to their rates, but I don't think that is unusual or unexpected for ladies on the lower end of the rate scale. If she has good reviews and is someone I want to see, I would pay the extra 50 and I wouldn't consider that an upsell.

Vast majority of girls charge extra for outcall for just this reason.

I doubt that the same lady whom the OP is talking about tells gentlemen that if he expects her to have manicured hands/feet he must pony up for her manicure/pedicure, body lotion to make her skin soft, make up, etc.

A lady who charges 300 or over should be all inclusive. At 250 and less, I expect less.

I am also more willing to be understanding and poney up more for a particular circumstance, because I am just so DAMN HAPPY that she has such a reasonable rate to start with LOL!  (plus, I always book for 2 hours)  I'm not poor, but I'm also far from rich, and even farther from that since I started this little hobby!!
