To all my Newbie friends out there - just thought I'd share - stay within the lines. They are there for your protection as well as hers. Don't go all "Impressionist" and start painting like Picasso. She doesn't love you, she's not your GF, don't blow her up on email and text.  Don't expect to see her OTC.

Be a gentleman and stay within the lines, paint by the numbers.

Take it from someone who drew lines in the sand and then blazed right across - it does not end pretty.

Excellent post!  It happens to most hobbyist at one time or another, just depends on when you catch yourself. Newbs are most susceptible, but it even happens to veterans as well.
