Having trouble making first contact

So i finally got my first reference, and thought that contacting providers would be way easier now.  Turns out i am wrong.  Is this common?  Can someone tell me if i am doing something wrong?

Allow me to elaborate.

I contacted a number of providers over email (their preference), and have not received any responses.  I include all the information they ask for, and even give them my p411 id just in case.  It's been 2 days and no response.

Should i send a follow up email?

Does the tone of the email matter?  I tend to be very formal and bussiness-like in my emails. (Hi, i saw your ad in X and was wondering if you would be free to meet at Y.  Here is the information you require...) Is that not ok? Do they expect you to be frindlier in emails? I just figured bussiness-like is best for first contact so they know you are a serious client.

So yeah, some help would be appreciated.

were you specific enough in your email regarding date & time for your time together, in or outcall, lenght of session, etc.  Yet, not specific about what type of date you were looking for; meaning was your email gentlemanly?

When going to a new area to play, I generally send several emails to ladies I would like to see and then it depends on who gets back to me first.

So give it some time, and find a few more gals to contact.

Stick to those with many recent reviews as those will be the most likely to be working now and also they show some stability.

From the example you provided about what you sent in the email it does not sound inappropriate to me.
Maybe your emails went into a spam folder accidentally, maybe the providers are on vacation or not working right now.If you are contacting a number of providers by email and that is their preference and you have not heard anything back it could very well be something you are saying in your emails.
I would suggest sending a follow up email inquiring if they did indeed receive your initial email.
As long as you are not talking explicit or mentioning rates I do not understand the no-responses.

......ding everything right.

Two days?  I promise to reply within twenty four hours.  With that being said, if I am traveling with a gentleman, I might only check mail every few days, as I am on his dime; not mine.  I do, however, enable auto reply, so that gentlemen, and ladies seeking references, know when I will be reading mail again.

  Good luck in the future!

Kelly
