I'd have sent you their way! They were the only agency I ever felt comfortable referring anyone (lady or gentleman) to.

The only other agency I know even a tiny bit about is Apres Vous. I have personally had NO experience with them, and I don't personally know anyone who has, so I have to give a recommendation with a grain of salt. However, I have also not heard anything negative about them, so there's that. I don't know for certain how geographically oriented they are, but they appear to be national.

That said, as an intelligent, attractive, and seemingly very self-motivated and confident woman, I think you would do well as an independent. It is harder to "get your foot in the door" as an indie, but IMO the struggle is worth the financial and personal independence. I've personally never been comfortable relying on anyone else to screen clients for me, and I like the freedom of seeing who I want when I want (and for how much!).
