Those stereotypes usually mean that you watch too much TV or spend too much time listening to the main stream media's grandstanding and fabrications.
This subject has been blown way out of proportion by LE and the special interest groups.

If it bothers you too much, take up another hobby like knitting. Just be careful not to prick your finger.

but consider for a moment that cheap shirt you are wearing, or the processed fish you eat, or those cheap electronics from Asian in your shirt pocket.

The odds are better than even that the persons who assembled, boned or otherwise worked on those products got forced into those jobs and are probably facing worse conditions that the K gal sleeping on the floor of the MP overnight.

So, will you also be giving up those products of exploitation?

It's just not a very pleasant or pretty world that we live in, our fantasies regarding it notwithstanding.

Has anyone stopped to think about if all the providers we are seeing doing it out of their free will?

In Europe I usually tried to stay away from all those Easter European providers. I guess in L.A. the equivalent is asian providers but how do you know? Do you even care?

Personally I do like those k-girls a lot but at the same time I don't want to support human trafficking and someone else's misery.

As I said on a previous thread I don't go to AMPS or brothels anymore for just this reason.  I have been in a couple of situations in the past where, in hindsight, I realized that I was with a woman who was being forced to perform sex acts against her will.  This is clearly not the case with every woman working in every AMP or brothel situation but since you can't know for sure going in what you will encounter the best course of action is to avoid that situation.  I see indie or legit agency girls. I'm not worried.

Wow, so you don't care if a woman is forced into prostitution huh? Doesn't matter that there are some women, right here in the US and other countries all aorund the world, who are given no choice, who are beaten or raped if they don't comply, and who realize no profit from the use of their bodies? Who gives a shit huh? So long as you get your nut?

Hmm, I don't know why but phrases like involuntary castration and bottom feeding scumbag come to mind here.

There have been long threads on this subject recently and maybe someone can help you find them.  As for me, I only see well-reviewed ladies who are known as enthusiastic providers who couldn't possibly be forced into the life. I know some of it's acting but someone who's forced into it wouldn't bother to do that during a session, IMO.

There are a number of ways to reduce the hobby. This one is to make the hobbyist feel guilty
about what he "MAY" be a part of so he will stop altogether. If the ladies stop having customers, they can get real jobs, have taxes withheld, and we all can go to "Mamby Pamby Land" and live the government approved life. I think we all are intellengent enough to have suspicions about where this may be going on and avoid it. But that is the problem, the governmnt doesn't want us to be intellegent. How can they lead us like lemmings if we know what is going on?

Unfortunately it’s almost impossible to find a reasoned discussion on the topic.  One set of extremists would have you believe it never happens, that no provider is ever forced or mistreated.  Another end of the fanatic spectrum would have you believe every provider is trafficked.  Extreme points of view are hardly ever correct, and that’s true on this topic as well.  Reality is in between.

There are some simple things you can do to lessen the likelihood of seeing a provider who is trafficked if that is something that matters to you.  Personally it does matter to me and it’s something I am very aware of.  There are plenty of others on this board who feel differently.  Do a search on the main discussion board and you’ll find a lot of loud “discussions” on the topic.

The "K-Girl" sleeping at the AMP is almost certainly not sleeping there because she is a hostage. She is either touring, or doing what many of us who work 12+ hr days do, Sleeping at the office to get a bit extra sleep.

Most K-girls work long hours for several day at a time, and then take a few days off. While they are working most of them don't bother going home late at night just to return early in the morning. This does not mean that they don't have an apartment, or in many cases a nice home.

It is very easy to get the wrong idea when you are ignorant about the culture of others.

This is certainly not the place for this debate tough, any further discussion on the subject should take place either on the GD or P&R boards, or on TEH which already has a thread on the subject.

Yeah but Phil you know me. Coming from me, my response WAS gentle, particularly given the sentiment our cranially challenged poster expressed.

By avoiding AMP's and certain "brothel situations", you will be way less likely to be involved in a girl who has been forced into performing sex acts for $.  See well-reviewed ladies and your chances of spending an incredable experience with someone who enjoys doing what she does because she wants to, will increase exponentially.

Yeah do know that LE and media would have you believe that every single on of those is forced to it which simply isn't true. I do avoid AMP's not only because a lot of them get busted but also due to the services they provide. I much rather like the whole GFE than a quick and hasty relief. I keep my conscience clean by sticking with providers that provide good service and seems to enjoy it. Usually you get what you pay for but I've also learned the hard way it's not always the case here.

Still, I can't argue with your sentiments.  Honestly, I'm surprised that nobody tore a piece of him off before you.

And to be honest if I replied it couldn't be even close to nice. I am close to someone who was pimped and beaten if the pimp was not happy. SinsOfTheFlesh was much nicer than I could be so I remained silent as I don't want to get moderated and you are supposed to play nice here.

I think my response sounded a little too callous.  So, let me just say that I don't support human trafficking, and you can take preventive measures as stated in the posts, which I agree with.  But, you will never be 100% sure that when overseas or domestically you aren't going to run into this.

If it's a major concern for you personally, the only 100% way to be sure is not to participate in the hobby.
