I never ask for someone to review me but I have gotten the follow up email thanking me etc saying they would post one...I have 3 at the moment but suspect there have been several others that did not get approved for some reason. Not sure why...happens on another site I'm on as well but at least I have 18 or so on there. Just don't know :(

encouraging client to write reviews.

TER may be just holding the reviews until you get enough from seasoned clients to make them comfortable with you.

I know like it seems like an eternity, but stay the course and you should be fine.

Best wishes to you.

I feel ya! My reviews are from Tucson and I've been in Chicago for over 2 months and not a single review from any of my lovely Chicago friends- who always come back. It totally takes time to build up a review list. It sounds like the gentleman who reviewed you is also a bit new with maybe only a few previous ones? If you find a gentleman who has a solid history of writing reviews on TER it should get approved with no problem.

Good Luck!

Hi Mr Fisher (and others as well)

Is it generally considerered good etiquette to ask someone for a review? I guess it's probably not a big deal but I've just never done it...just been happy that some have but certainly would appreciate more :)

You can advertise on your regional board once a week, include a pic, see what happens. Check the rules on specifics for advertising so you don't get in trouble. Join in on the threads on your regional board, that you can do whenever you feel like it. A little more visibility locally might help. Good luck

I have been working as a provider for about 6 months. I have yet to get any reviews :( which is odd to me because I rarely have 1st time last time clients. Asked one of my regulars to review me but his was unapproved saying I didn't have any other reviews etc. but how can I get reviews if they won't approve them? Should i ask everyone I see to review me? I know I would get more biz if I had reviews... Any tips???

I for one would have never joined TER if some providers hadn't strongly suggested that I write reviews for them.

I'm glad that they were persistent and that I finally relented.  I just needed a bit of a push to get into the pool and see how great the water is.

Tell the client that reviews really are the life blood of the hobby world, and that he will be doing everyone a favor by contributing.

After all, the worst that can happen is that he'll say no.

HH hit it on the money.

Where are you most likely to find clients that would write you a review?  Of course, the answer is on the very boards that you will find clients who have reviewed other providers.

Your weekly ritual should be posting on your local board your very best pictures, your outcall/incall availability and a little blurb about yourself and what makes you a special provider.

Smile in the pics, please.

I'm a newbie and never thought I would have trouble having a review posted.  I'll just have to wait and see what happens with the first on.

I would feel very uncomfortable if a provider ask me to write a review, but I am shy :-)

Here is an idea, how about including a TER Handle option during the screening process. not a requirement, but an option.
