heading to the big apple and just can't make up my mind. I'm 40 married, and need a hobby.
Have researched this site,really researched this sited and those recommended, become a member and may be more confused than ever.
First,
Was going staight for an independent, seems like most of you boys like knowing what you are getting. But the AMPs started looking good after I considered the possibility of making my activities more invisable to eyes at home. I also can't help but think that I am going to like this activity and it is almost a 2 for 1 in the $ bracket.
In the end I know JUST DO IT
But I thought some added discussions would sway me one way or another

You don't have to choose one way or the other. Do both, see which you like best and what you feel is the best value for your cash. Ask most any hobbyist and they will tell you that the quality of the experience depends on a ton of factors. It doesn't always go the way you'd like it to, but often it does. I have to say after tring both I am leaning towards the independent out call, I must say I was not truly comfortable either time atleast not to 100%. But I wasn't as a kid riding a bike for the first time either. Any way thanks for all the great advice I keep searching the boards and finding more valuble info. thanks for exsisting TER!!!
