As part of my Provider Relations 101 Series, I have a section on Cleaning Your Internet Tracks. I am linking to it below and its part of the newbie manual. Today, I installed a new version of Norton. And, low and behold, I discovered that there is another area that logs the websites you visit.
If you go to the tab marked "Norton Internet Security," then to "Reports and Statistics" and finally to "View Activity Log" you will get your log viewer. If you click on "network connections," you get a listing of IP addresses. Try clicking on one of the IP addresses and "surprise" guess what shows up... the website you visited.
I am sure that there are similar log viewers in other antivirus software. It may be a good idea to check this and clean out the log file. You can do so on the top by clicking "log" and then "clear category" on the pulldown menu.
Mind you, even after you have used a web cleaner such as windows washer, cc cleaner, etc., and cleaned your internet history, this information can be found in your antivirus log files.
Just another helpful hint to keep you guys out of hot water!
if you are "braless"... what will it take to get the rest of your clothes off *wink* and you here in Chicago!!! (OK, what can I say, she's sexy as hell!)
