Ok...so I shell out for VIP (yeah yeah)..anyway...I see a review for a provider from two different reviewers, three months apart, different TER handles....exact same review....word for word.

Can anyone shed some light on that?

What I'm hearing is that something weird is going on with the provider in question.  One of those reviews is almost certainly fake.  (A problem report will net you 2 free VIP days, btw).  If those are the only 2 reviews, I'd run screaming naked in the opposite direction.

She has great reviews other than that...LOTS of them!!! All 9's and 10's..and she posts on the local board too.

Man...I just think that seemed SO odd! I would love to hear what people think might be going on here.

Well, something is definitely wrong.

This reminds me of a similar situation once, but in reverse. A lady happened to notice that a recent review she got was word for word identical to a review the same guy wrote for another lady. Further research found that the reviewer tended to write nearly identical reviews in ALL of his reviews. Only a few sentences would vary, but the remainder of his review was always the same. How the pattern wasn't noticed before, I don't know, but he had about a dozen reviews. If I recall correctly, all of his reviews wound up being removed.

I would submit a problem report on the two reviews, and let staff sort it out.

Then we can digest this situation & get to the bottom of it !

If the guy who posted the second of the two identical reviews is just a lazy ass slob who copied and pasted the previous review onto the form page to save himself the time and trouble of coming up with something original.

Don't blame the gal just yet.

raising an issue with a possible fake review, which IS a valid topic here and the review can be linked.

Just do not copy and paste any VIP info from the review into your post - a link to the profile is sufficient.

BTW, the problem report system is designed for the kind of self policing that is being done here.

That guy will be banned.  I wouldn't presume that it is a problem with her, but more of a problem with a guy trying to get credit.
