Hey, I went to a asian massage joint in LA, on ventura last monday.  This place is reviewed well, and is known to give special work.  When I went there, there were young women behind the desk, but the 45 year old manager was the one who decided to give me a massage.  She took me to a big well lit room, while I saw other dim, little rooms when I walked through the hallway.

During the massage, she was asking me what I did for a living and making small talk.  She told me to save my money when I offered more.  Nothing went down.  She did say to come back another time and she'd put me with one of the other girls.

What does this sound like to you? Was she just making sure I was cool before she gave me to the girls?

Maybe she was checking to make sure you weren't with ICE. I'm sure she doesnt want to see all her illegally smuggled girls sent back where they came from.

The place was "hot". LE may have been staking it out, or they may have recently been busted and were keeping things legal until things cooled off.
