So the title says it all.  My phone isn't blocked, and I try using *82.  Is there a specific time to contact the providers?  Or is it just luck of the draw?  Help pls.

Dude, bro . . . I had a terrible time contacting providers by phone. I had a pristine new hobby phone, and the first 4 providers I called, it went nowhere, no return calls, my location was too far, yadda yadda yadda.    

I found that I had better luck when I contacted providers by email and tried to set up appts about one week in advance.  Also, the hot babes i wanted to see usually wanted a reference.  I finally spent the dough on P411, and thru 411, found a local provider that I wanted to see who saw newbies with no references.  I had a date with her, and I was on my best behaviour, and tipped her well (I got this idea from reading a post by a hobby veteran). She listed me as o.k. on P411 (or whateva they call it on P411), and I have gone from there.  I hope this helps.

Luck of the draw. If you are going to call, I would say the "best" time is noon-5pm. Most likely she is awake and not busy. 3am is not a good time to call.

the problem may be the message you leave more than the time you call.

It would help to know a little more about what you've encountered. Sorry, your title does not say it all. Are they not picking up? Not replying to your messages? Are you trying to arrange a date plenty in advance with well-reviewed providers, or something last minute with unreviewed Backpage girls?

If getting screened is part of your problem the P411 suggestion (or Date-Check) is a good start. There have been many discussions here about essential info to include in any intitial call or message to improve your chances of getting a reply. If you search the past 100 days for the words "return call" (w/o quotes), you'll find a bunch of them.

Keep in mind that we do have lives and are not just sitting in lingerie waiting to **** 24/7, haha! It is very difficult to accept a live call at any moment when you might be at the grocery store, with family and friends, at the movies,  in the shower or asleep (much less with a client).

I suggest trying multiple means of communication. Call, leave a message. Then text. Then email and include your number.

P411s Appointment Request system is the bomb because all of the info comes in one email and you know the guy has been verified.

On a related note, I started with email only so I can discreetly access requests with my phone anywhere I am but someone submitted my personal cell number with a review and I started getting many, many calls at all hours no matter where I was, way more than email requests I used to get. I started to realize that a lot of guys don't think you will respond to email. They prefer phone, so this turned out to be a happy accident.

I have since set up a Google Voice number that converts texts to emails and my voicemail for that says to text or email me, both go to my phone (I submitted it to TER to update my profile - my cell is still there! ugh!). I STILL get calls at all hours, but my voicemail tells them the best way to contact me so I often get a text or email right after a missed call. This one small change has exploded my business, and I still don't answer live!
