Looking for some guidance from our wizened hobby vets... Should I include my TER Info on my P411 & Date-Check profiles...?  Is it a help or a hindrance?  Or is it just better to keep my cards close to the vest?  Oh sages of nookie, let me know!  Thanks.

The more places the girls can verify you, the easier it will be to make dates.  Less screening, easier for them, easier for you.

I'd advise keeping your TER info completely separate from screening info.  If you review, you don't want that connected with your P411 profile.  All you need on P411 and Date-Check is a handful of provider OKs to see anyone you want.  The TER stuff is superfluous and potentially harmful.

Not necessarily true. Providers like to see your reviews as added insurance you are a match. That is to your advantage as well. The better the chemistry, the more fun for both of you. I personally get suspicious of gents who don't give up their TER handles & will reject appts. based on that alone. No matter how many ok's you may have.

But I know there are many who will not, for the reasons I mentioned.  It is one way to protect yourself from an honest but negative review.  So, whether you like it or not, it is, in fact, true.  And, yes, I do understand some providers like to see your reviews.  That was kind of my point.

There's an up and a downside to that. But that's the way I roll.

Just a few days ago, a provider on this board asked how she could *blacklist* a customer for giving her a low rating in his review. That's right, she was considering outing him to the world for being a tough grader.

Many members have reported being pressured by providers to give them rave reviews. Others have admitted that they sweeten their reviews, leave out less than flattering details, and skip reviewing bad sessions altogether for fear that it will hurt their chances of passing the screening of "exclusive" providers.

I'm sure that many providers ask for your TER handle for legitimate, ethical purposes. However, enough of them evidently don't that it makes it problematic, IMO, to so freely give it out. I realize that they can usually uncover your handle anyway, but why encourage them to pair your reviews with your screening? Of course, you could still provide it on a case-by-case basis.

Above all, TER reviews are supposed to be for sharing candid opinions with other mongers. When they become a way to curry favor with providers, everybody loses.

If she asks I have no problem but I never volunteer.
