What are some other ways to give a donation besides the obvious?
I will be making a large donation very soon and I do not want to be carrying such a large amount so I am wondering, are providers open to receiving something like a bank check or a cashier's check, bank money order or maybe a VISA Gift card(s) in said amount?

Unless you like waiting around so she can go cash the money order, cashiers check etc...oh and she had better make sure that the Visa card actually has the money on it . If it were me, I wouldn't move a muscle until whatever it was you gave me was converted into cash and safely in my hands. Especially if it's the first time seeing someone. Long standing...and I mean VERY longstanding...odds are I know so much about him and his family that a cashiers check would be fine...maybe.
The visa card(s) always have a 1800 number that could be called and punch the number in to check the card. I would have no problem waiting till she did call. It usually takes like 5mins.
And this wouldn't be someone I would be seeing for the first time.
Then ask her what she prefers because surprising her with some form of payment that she is not familiar with, it might be an issue, but if you have a good, close relationship, a discussion would be no problem. Other than that, like others have suggested...$100 bils.
No, no, no and no. Unless the lady takes credit card and gets your signature & photocopies your ID alsong w/ it in case you decide to refute/dispute the charge to you cc company but seriously like Meena said carry 100 dollar bills baby lol.
Some ladies use Money Pak (green dot) for large retainers and such for extended engagements. If she takes this as an option have her explain how you do it.

Depends on the gal. I actually bought a very high-class gal a $3,000 gift once. We had an awesome fucking time and she didn't feel like a whore and I didn't feel like a John. I still think it was one of the classiest dates I've been on because it felt an awful lot a typical date and there wasn't a chance in hell a cop could have suggested anything was suspicious.

Sadly, cashier's checks can be forged and gift cards cannot be used for mortgage payments or rent. Gift cards are helpful for other purchases, but the lady may be counting on good old fashioned cash.
I oft times write a check for cash. i have offered cashiers checks. They've been accepted readily. The girls were in good standing with me though. Frankly i don't understand why a girl would wish to walk around with 5, 10(or more) thousand dollars.
