So for security it is generally suggested to have a throw away phone and a hobby email not associated with any personal information but was wondering how many of us use personal computers or tablets that are connected to us to view websites like TER or email providers. Is this a security issue? Can LE find you though a simple email from a desktop computer? Should you do everything on a throw away smart phone? It is really hard to view web pages with a small screen on a throw away device and was wondering how many people truely do this and if they thought it was a security issue if they don't.

I rarely view this site on anything other than my desktop or laptop.  Phone image is just too small.  Being single, I do not have a separate hobby phone.  Regardless of what you do over the net, there is little LE can do to you unless they actually catch you in the act of exchanging $ for sexual activities.  

So it makes no sense to worry about LE busting you through TER.

In fact, even if they could, since TER is located off shore, they could not present the evidence in court because they would have no subpoena power to get TER's records.

So, while there are many security issues to worry about in this hobby, using TER on your regular laptop is not one of them, unless you worry about a spouse, etc. finding out you've been on it.  For that you must clear your cache each and every time you log on and off.

Some folks overthink everything.

wife has her own computer & devises.  I have my own.  Never turn over a running computer!  If I had to, I'd do an Oooops shut down.  My computer is set to delete browsing history on shut down.  I run antivirus & antspyware & antimalware often.  I run CC cleaner to overwrite about once a week...  I go off & leave it running while I'm away...  takes a long time to process.  I try to stick to my desktop for TER.  If I use my laptop, I run CC Cleaner after.
