I don't write too many reviews but I thought it was something worth sharing to the community. The review wasn't horrific and I gave her 8 out of 10 for both. Basically I felt like the things I said was truthful, it might not be the kindest wording but I'm not like some of the veterans here that uses all the fancy euphemisms and stuff. Today she PMed me saying some of the things I said was very rude and was asking me to tell her when exactly did we meet and who am I. How should I proceed? I'm worried that she could use my personal info to "retaliate" but I also feel like it was something worth sharing

I would not tell her exactly when you met IF it could be used to identify you & subject you to retaliation...  and sure wouldn't give her your RL information so she could use it against you.  If she's already unhappy... or even angry...  anything you say may be used against you.  Or Black List you. Or trash you to other provders you might choose to book with.

If you think your description was rude, maybe apologize for not being great with words.  Every review is one guy's opinion, nothing more.  If she complains to TER you may have to tell where you met her.  Describe he location features.  An aproximate time frame (TER allows 3 months to write a review.)  You might want to contact TER first...  say you recieved the PM & she's unhappy.

Whether I love the review or hate it, if I don't already know I've met that guy then I will ask him for his first name & the date we met.  Why?   Because there are too many fake reviews and I feel we should all work to prevent that.

But I admit their are some crazy-pants providers among the ranks who cause y'all to be leery of proving a meeting took place.  

There's just no one-size-fits-all solution to the fake review problem. :-)

I didn't expand enough.  I write reviews under my official TER name, and now ask the provider permission first (they all say yes.)

In this case he already has blow back and it can only potentially harm him if she finds out who he is.

Plus, he admitted he said some thing she found "rude" which would be cause enough for concern for many providers.  ;-)

First, do not respond. Do not give her any information, clue, hint or reminder as to who you are.

Second, if her complaint response to you seems genuine, as if she really didn't remember doing or acting the way she did, and you look at the review you gave her and realize you have made a mistake, I believe you can revise or edit your review.

However, if she is just complaining for the sake of griping and bitching about it, then she is trashier than you rated her. I would let the review stand, and if she harasses you about it again with more PM's then you should revise the review with lower numbers

It sounds like you now feel the review is poorly written even though it's factually accurate.  Is the provider unhappy with the 8/8 or the wording?  Before you do anything, go back and edit the review to say what you want without sounding rude. It's not that hard to soften the language without loosing the meaning.  Giving your info to someone that's already pissed off isn't going to work well for you.
