NAMES!!!!!
I need NAMES!!!!

I'm a newbie -- I've thought about contacting a provider before. I was wondering how common/uncommon  is it for a provider to entertain another female as a hobbyist?

who see other gals professionally.

One was not even a provider but considers herself a hobbyist, she even contributes on these boards.

(Don't bother to PM me, I'm not naming names.)

That said, if you are interested in seeing a provider, I would suggest screening them on the Review Board by the "really bi" filter and then entering the other requirements you have and see who pops up.

I'm sure they would appreciate your business.

Happy hobbying!

Personally with some ladies is that, because they are ladies, they do not wish to be held to the same prescreening standards as men.  This has just been my personal experience.

I screen everyone, regardless of sex.  For couples, I screen both parties.

This may not be the case with you, but this is often true.

Good luck!

What are those standards? I've read about needing to provide ID and your work information. But, I haven't really explored the ins and outs in detail just yet.

Bittersweet,

There's plenty of background on verification in other posts on this board.

In general, provider references are the best but as a newbie you probably have to rule that out.  Registering with a verification site is a safe bet (RS2K, DateCheck, etc...) since it only entails doing workplace verification once.

Ultimately (whether through a verification site or done individually by a provider) you will need to provide your name, telephone numbers, work information, work website, things like that.  The provider or site will contact your work very discretely to make sure you actually work there.

Upon arrival for your appointment the provider may ask to see your license for verification (don't be alarmed she should no more than look at it to match the pic with the name).

While it is a bit unnerving the first time it really isn't that big of an inconvenience.  Of course, as a newb you will have to look for providers that are newb friendly (meaning they are prepared to schedule without a provider reference).

There definately are providers who enjoy playing with women.

And, those who do may fall under the 'really Bi' heading on TER. But there is a difference between being Bi 'enough'...lol...to do doubles for the entertainment of gentlmen, and genuinely enjoying women one-on-one.

But that's a good place to start. And, for the latter category, these providers are usually very clear about that preference on their website.

You will very likley need to provide some level of personal information.

But, I think you'll find many providers will be willing to work with you to find a way of screening that works; as long as you are willing to work with her, and provide information she is comfortble with.

(I am a woman, BTW);)

This is what I'm most interested in avoiding: "But there is a difference between being Bi 'enough'...lol...to do doubles for the entertainment of gentlmen, and genuinely enjoying women one-on-one."

But, this has helped provide better insight on how to get started.

Webbie here, notorious lesbian and TER legend in her own mind.  :)

I wouldn't say it is common for a lady to see a woman as a client, the numbers here are about the same as the general population as far as women who "really" like women go.

As said by another poster, "really-bi" often just means bi enough to do doubles, or good enough to fool a client into thinking she is really bi...

Many ladies open to seeing female clients will post on their websites that they see women...a lady that sees couples does not necessarily see women alone.

Screening as a newbie will generally entail giving work info and your real name...
though I have had a few ladies say they would see women as clients but had to be physically attracted to them to do so, so they request a picture of the prospective female client (since I am a short, fat, ugly small troll-like creature I don't see those women...but if you are attractive go for it *grin*)

hope this helps.

I think that's interesting -- I wonder if providers tend to hold their male clients to the same standard of.. ..beauty?! I'm not a troll, fat, or ugly so we'll see how looks works out in my case if it were to crop up :)

I just saw a provider ad recently who had a lower rate for women than men. 400/hr for guys, 275/hr for women. Makes sense I guess, women must be an easier gig.
