A question from someone fairly new. I have emaled a few providers who advertise on Craigslist. Their response has directed me to a web site, usually "datesoandso.com. The site asks for a fee, usually between $1 and $30, to register and get contact info. Providers have said that it's for the safety of both, ensuring we're not cops, etc. Is this true? Are these legit providers or are they trying to run some sort of scam?

and if I might venture an opinion- nobody without at least one year's experience should be shopping on CraigsList.....

The best way to have the best experience in my opinion is to shop using TER

Use the search reviews page and input your favorite criteria

Pay attention to new reviews in your area

Pay attention to mini reviews on your local board

Take note of provider ads and other posts on your local board as well

When I used to use CL Backpage Eros Cityvibe etc I batted around 50%

I've been damn near 100% using TER to do my shopping....

What it does is give your CC info to God knows who.  You get a recurring subscription to a porn site that does not give you what you wanted & is almost impossible to cancel.  That is if you don't get ID thefted too.  
The girl in the ads is fake, you'll never get to meet her...  same ads run all over the country.  The ads are likely run by some big hairy ape...  or someone in Nigeria.

There are a few hidden jewels on the ad sites...  but they are also reviewed right here on TER.  After you read & learn the newbie manual (link at the top of this board), read this board until there's no question you can't answer (all FREE, BTW).  You need VIP to read the complete reviews.  Just because a gal advertizes "TER reviewed" does not mean the reviews are good.  I guess they figure some guys are too cheap to get VIP.  VIP costs way less than even one spoiled date.  I know.  That's why I

it's easier to sign up for bangbros or something because that's exactly what you are doing, signing up for some god knows what porn site overseas with viruses all over the site
