chatting up a provider before date via e-mail

for all you non-believers out there, scottfvc has a date scheduled!! due to my schedule, not for a few weeks, but its gonna happen!!

question. I've made arrangements via e-mail. provider seems pretty chatty. is it ok to e-mail back and forth? mines private and i know how to delete history so no problem there. i figure getting to know a little about provider might help me feel at ease when the big day arrives. she seems pretty willing to respond to my e-mails, just don't know whether its part of the bus and all for show(which is ok) or if sharing some info before hand will make both of us more comfortable when the big day arrives

i realize that this could go provider by provider, so for this discussion lets assume she started the info share and seems willing to talk...

Communication is good

But don't make a pest of yourself by asking a bunch of questions you should be able to figure out yourself or acting needy. A little light hearted banter before hand can make an encounter more fun but if you stack half a dozen emails in her inbox you might find you no longer have a date in a few weeks. I'm referring to myself... I've asked so many questions over the last few days people were wondering if I'm for real. Remember, this is the newbie board!!

everyone stresses that the experience is best if both provider and client are comfortable/trust each other. remember I'm a newbie. gonna be scared sh..less the first time! exchanging some info before hand might help me and her be more comfortable. Looking for a gfe, so kinda makes sense to mean... n I'm talking about an e-mail 3-4 times before date(few weeks away), not 12 in one hour!!! hey, I gotta work sometime!!!

If she's into 'chatting' ahead of time, then go for it, but....

please don't expect it from every provider. I will generally not chat much before we meet - I simply don't have the time to spend a lot of time talking to someone I haven't met yet, and who, frankly, may well end up canceling due to cold feet, business, illness, or whatever.

After we've met, if we've established a relationship, I may be willing to chat a little more.

No such thing as too many questions for a newbie..

Yes, you can definitely chat with her and build rapport. If she is comfortable with you, that can make things easy for both of you.

Refrain from getting too personal, and also nowhere does it say that you have to answer every question if she gets too personal. Use people skills..

Considering the number of OP's you've made here

Forgive us for thinking that your idea of "a few" emails might be different than hers.

It's fine to exchange a couple of emails with her, but please don't make yourself a pest. I/we understand that you are a newb with newb jitters, but she is not, and she has a life to live other than holding your hand for "a few weeks" before your appointment. Unless she is exceedingly chatty herself (and some providers are) keep in mind that if you are only booked, and only paying for, an hour or two, it's not fair to her to spends twice that much time "chatting you up" before your appointment.

BTW many providers won't even book an appointment that far out for that very reason. Be friendly, but don't take advantage of the poor girls time.

Maybe, yes, but I still reject religion and their practices false promises

If there is a god in the form stated by a lot of these religions, then I'm sure he'd have made it much easier for the infidels to believe
and show up on our door step so that people can see this creator with their own two eyes.... rather than having to believe thru blind faith.

Either way, I was really into creation / evolution topic and still kinda am but I'm caring less lately. I just wanna get laid and see hot babes lol

A less intrusive way to get to know a little about the provider . . .

would be to spend more time on her website reading what she has written as well as spend some time reading and re-reading her reviews.

Nothing wrong with a short confirmation email about once a week but don't expect her to play 20 questions with you. Otherwise, you will be considered a time-waster and could be setting yourself up for a NCNS.

Are you writing a damn book?

Good lord. Just from your board posts I would avoid you like the plague! It's not as complicated as you're making it out to be, but most providers don't have the time to 'chat' with you for weeks on end before a date... they are busy making MONEY with guys who book vs. ones who do nothing but want to sext and ask for photos.

OTOH, the provider you speak of sounds like she might have the time, so no harm. SHE initiated the dialogue.

What she said. A few questions are good, but after a while it gets really annoying. There is a pattern with the guys who call me. The guys who don't ask anything and the guys who ask too much and chat too much, usually are the ones who don't show up. Also, to add that we have lives outside the job. but that's just my 2 cents.
