I'm admittedly a Newbie. I've been reading and researching and working up my nerve to give this a shot. I think I've read through most of the Self-Help section, and I've also been surfing through the Discussion forums to learn as much as I can. I have gotten myself verified on p411, nothing beyond that yet though.

A question: What do people generally put in their Client Profiles? Obviously I want to safeguard myself and my information. But I also want to open up and provide any potential Provider with enough general information to at least consider me. I want to be honest, and try to display a little bit of who I am.  I can imagine that a Provider could be turned off by a lame profile just as a Client might be turned off by something in a Providers profile.

So I figured I would ask & get some feedback. Thanks!

no one can answer this for you. Some ladies want to see it all, while some don't care. I prefer knowing what a guy expects, but that's not a deal breaker if he has already read my reviews and understands that is ALL I do. I do like knowing if a client is over weight, how old he is approx. and if he is "cut" lol.

I appreciate the response. I guess I'm just curious if there are things I should or should not post that a Provider would want to know.

Like "Hey, I'm a complete Newbie and nervous as hell, wanna meet up!?". Or "Hey, I'm a father & a husband looking to cheat." vs. "I'm a single guy looking for fun." vs. not saying either way.

I started with just some basic facts about myself...height/weight...a recent photo...educated professional...my interests outside of work. Nothing specific regarding the type of woman I like, nor any specific details on what I expect on a "date"...most Providers I've researched are pretty clear on their limits.

With the exception of a few things, like the what's important section - BBBJ, DFK etc.  

I don't post a photo or anything else and only rarely have I had a problem making an appointment.  Unless you look like Brad Pitt and you think your sexy face is going to make a provider all hot and steamy and horny for you...no sense posting a photo.  They honestly don't care for the most part what you look like, unless you look like a 500lb version of Steve Buscemi...then maybe...

That's why THEY show photos to us, because WE care about looks and are paying for it. They could give a shit...even if you do look like a TROLL, if you have a nice personality and are clean and friendly most providers will make the date.  

They really don't care what your interests are up front...what kind of music you like, whether you are a noob or want to cheat on your wife!!

They want to know if you are safe and clean and reliable (will pay and LEAVE).  They are primarily concerned with if you have oks...and maybe are interested enough to see who those ladies are that have ok'd you, MAYBE even more interested and will contact a couple of those ladies...and if those ladies say you are ok, then that is all they need.    

I can't tell you how any times a provider will get an appt request email from P411, and then I just get a direct email from them saying my selected date is cool.  These are top providers too that claim to screen heavily.  They just see from the email that I have 20+ okays and that is good enough for them.  I doubt most even look at the profile details.  

 

 

Provide insights into your wants and desires through your reviews of other ladies. As London stated, many  providers will go over your reviews as part of their screening process In order to get a better picture of you- as in a way to know that your favorite way of spending time, with the lady, is to dazzle the lady with your incredible pile driving skills -  certain ladies will look forward to this event and others will pass.

I also give the lady information on my age, ethnic back ground and any non-personal info I believe might be help her make the decision as to whether she feel's safe spending time with me.

This, I agree with and let me explain.

A very good friend of mine had his photo up on a screening site. He gave a not so stellar review to a provider who had been known for blackmailing for high scores all the while (she is now off of TER). What did she do? She took a screen shot of the photo, saved it, and then uploaded it into a Google Image search. That led her to his photo on professional websites that were job related, to his real name, etc. and she used that against him.  

That "right click" disable thing, means nothing nowadays. You can take a screen shot and accomplish the very same things. Some people are vicious, so you should protect yourself. Know that anything you put on the net, can come back to haunt you later in life.

Don't assume providers don't screen, just because YOU got a pass. It is very possible they knew your rep from around here or somewhere else, and once looking at your high number of vouches, they just did that for YOU. Some providers are that way, depending on where they find the guy.

That does not mean they would do the same for a guy with only 2 Okays and no board posts. I've met a ton of guys from TER, who flew through screening, because it was that easy just to click their name and go look at the women they had seen. Some I called, some I did not. Two guys from Chicago come to mind...there was simply no need to spend hours of screening them by other means, when I had been chatting with them on and off the boards for almost a year, before we ever met.  

Women all screen to their level of comfort, so don't assume they are not doing anything. You would be surprised at how much info. a guy's email and even fake phone, can tell us on certain verification sites. It is actually unreal. For local guys, I always require personal info...end of story. I don't care if he has 100 references, I am not seeing anyone local without knowing WHO they are. Now, some women are that way when they tour, because they are more afraid across state lines. Everyone is different.

Removed the photo & posted some basic details, nothing more.

Submitted a Pre-Screening request to a well-reviewed provider, and awaiting a response!

I am sure you are right, it didn't mean to make it sound like ladies don't screen, and yes since I have a lot of p411 okays, then they probably make an exception for me vs. some dude that only has a couple okays.

I was basically trying to say that this world of hobbying isn't like match.com - where the lady would be interested in details of a guy's profile, his looks (beyond weight)...interests, whether he likes long walks on the beach etc.  

I mean honestly, when someone is emailing you for a reference check on a client, how often are they asking if he is hot, amazing in bed, enjoys cultural activities etc...I would bet most just want to know if they are "ok" - have good hygiene, and show up and leave on time etc...am I right?
