Sorry if this is a repost, but nothing turned up on the board search. I don't like paper trails and I don't like TER billing me when my VIP expires. I know you get bonus days for reviews, but I might take breaks from hobby every once in a while. Is there any ways to buy a lifetime VIP membership from TER?

You can pay by cash using "trustcash." See link below. Not sure if there is a lifetime option but there is a yearly option. (Or you can file problem reports)

you will only see 3 options for membership, and lifetime is not one of them.  There is also some information for paying cash for membership there.  At $210/year, a lifetime membership would probably pretty costly. Since you admit you might be taking hobby breaks, it might not be worth it for you anyway.

Not only can you earn VIP days from reviews, but also from filing problem reports.  I know of more than one guy that have accumulated lots of VIP days doing prob reports.  I do it too, but the only trouble is, you have to read a shit load of reviews to make it really worthwhile, and that takes time.

and were very happy with the simplicity of it and lack of a paper trail. If you search this board for "trust cash" or 'trustcash" and go back 300 days instead of the default 30, you should find a few threads about it. The down side for you is you still have to do it every year, as there is no life membership like you wanted. On the other hand if you do write some reviews or submit problem reports, then those free days just get banked until your paid days expire. When your one year expires, you can use the banked days until they run out then sign up again.
