AS a small business owner, my schedule is hectic at times. I find it very difficult to meet with any provider during the week. Many enjoy seeing clients during the day time, which is pretty much impossible for me during the week. In my limited experience, many providers dont like taking appointments after 7pm, which is when I am home from work, showered and ready to go out.  

With advanced notice, I have found scheduling to be easier, but I often have to cancel, as the business and personal responsibilities have to come first, before my indulgences. If I do cancel, it is always with multiple days notice, as I book 1 week in advance normally. How do providers feel about cancellations when done days in advance? Sometimes I feel like if you not met them yet and you cancel, even with enough notice that does not disrupt their schedule, it will ruin my chances of seeing that provider again when she sees my request come through a second time. I try to be a good client and be the type of guy who providers would be happy to recommend. I have had no issues there, but getting time to meet with ladies when they prefer to book appointments can be a real challenge.  

I have had providers cancel on me, especially those who travel, so I do understand it happens to everybody, but my concern is irritating a local provider who I have not met yet with a cancellation and her not wanting to try again. I think its happened to me before, but I am only speculating that was the reason they did not respond to my second attempt.

I don't hobby as much as I want due to my crazy work schedule. A lot of providers only give new clients one shot at booking if you cancel then they will not see you again or they request deposit.  

The reason why they do this is because some guys get off on contacting providers and not following through with their dates.

If you give her enough Advanced Notice, then I think it's Fine. I know every situation is different. At least then she can possibly Book another Client in that time slot. If a Client is a No Call / No Show, then that's what gets a Provider Mad.

Especially if they've gotten a lot recently. I'd planned ahead, scheduled things around it, just to see you, and then "Oh, something came up, sorry!"

It sucks when it happens to either party involved.
But,if you cancel an appt and give advance notice such as days in advance I do not see an issue.
However if it is done more than once then it starts to look like it might be a pattern and that maybe the legit reason is not so legit afterall.
I always try to give someone the benefit of the doubt if a gent has to cancel and he gives me advance notice maybe I might have time to make other arrangements.

But.if a gent cancels very last minute like same day or an hour or two before the appt and does not reschedule and the excuse sounds like BS I will never ever see this person.
Some providers have a cancellation policy I don't have one but I guess it all depends on the situation on why those providers ask for cancellation fees.

Every lady is different some will be pissed with a cancellation even with advance notice and some while might be annoyed can understand the circumstance.
I would advise maybe looking for providers who are available in the evenings since you said you are usually available in the evenings.There are some providers who will accept evening appts.
I would advise to be up front about time and the possibility with being a small business owner sometimes your schedule is out of your control.

Yes, even if you give notice, it's still your fault she paid for a room and turned away other appointments. Not all of us can just call the next guy on the list...there is NO list. I now require a deposit for this very reason. Even though I did not have to get a hotel because I had incalls, I still had to spend the majority of my day getting ready, about 100 bucks on food and alcohol, arranging for my child to be taken care of (I don't use sitters and my parents are miles away), etc. If you KNOW your job is that unpredictable, make her aware that you might have to cancel. Don't just book and say nothing when you know this happens a lot. I hate guys who do that, and worse...they don't even offer to cover her expenses.  

In your case, I don't see it as such a big deal being you give days and not hours. Many guys cancel an hour before with some bs line, and guess what...it is ALWAYS "I got called to work." Many times we find out he was full of shit and saw a friend of ours...yes, providers do talk to each other about who they have screened.

I make sure I have nothing planned for that day. I also make sure I'm on time.

I agree with everything said here.  I just contacted a new provider through P411 last night using a new method - a personal message. I mentioned my schedule and asked if she had any available Saturday mornings after the 1st of next month, but asked for the 1st Saturday, which is 8 days out. She responded and its all good. Ill send her a request to make it official. There is no reason at all I would have to cancel on a Saturday morning when I know its coming up in 8 days. Its the weekdays that are killers for me.

I did like the fact that she had the major cross streets listed in the P411 ad for Incall. I wish more providers did that on trusted verification sites, rather than just putting the city. I may start asking for that before hand to help with scheduling. Scottsdale can be a big place if you have little time to find a new spot. Since I already know she is with in 10 miles from my house and I dont have to drive to Scottsdale, or North Phoenix from where I am, there will be no issue with traffic at all. Its hard for me to get to appointments on time when they are really, really vague about their location and I have to get to Scottsdale for example taking the freeway when I only got the directions 60 minutes before the date. Sometimes I just drive to where I think Im close and then hang out for 30 minutes in a Starbucks or something, but that starts making the experience much more time consuming for me.

I would never cancel on a provider the same day. I would not want to be black listed. I take my provider okays seriously and do not want to tarnish my fragile reputation on being a flake. I know for a fact some of the ladies know each other in the business and it can and most likely will get around that you are a jack ass if you are not careful about how you conduct yourself. That would really suck!
