Question about Aliases

So when you change your alias, what happens to your old alias posts?  Does the name change on them?  Or are the old alias posts unaffected?

Here's what the site told me when I asked the same question

Your old alias posts will still be there, under the old name.
You can request to have the name of your old alias changed to your new alias if you like, otherwise they will be unaffected.

Alabama?!

Businesses is correct

If you change your username all of your old posts will get assigned to the new username, but if you change your alias all of your old alias posts remain under the old alias.
