Brothel Etiquette

I live in a major city. Some escort agencies have a "private apartment". I assume this is what would be considered a brothel. What if any difference in etiquette is there between an incall at a hotel room, and a "brothel" at a private apartment? Also, how many people might be active in a private apartment at the same time? Several?

And etiquette remains the same: be discreet.

Seldom are there more than two gals present from my admittedly limited experience with these.

might be 2-3 girls there (2-3 bedroom aprartment, see?) and so the girl may need to check the hallways are clear prior to you coming and going so your privacy isn't compromised by seeing another client (hey, is that you Father in Law? Pastor Joe?) or sometimes not seeing the other girls so that jealously about client loyalty and "stealing" regulars is limited.

Specific info would surely help to get better answers. As you seem to know, a hotel is a hotel, usually one person but sometimes two girls will split the cost and set their schedules to avoid embarrassing overlaps. Upscale apartments can be for 1, 2 or maybe 3 hostesses. You make your appointment with a specific person. When you arrive, you get invited in and join her in her room.  There is no "line up" as you might expect in a brothel.  You might not see anyone else there at all. You might here some noises. (Sometimes you will see the other hostesses or even be introduced on the way in or the way out.) A brothel offers the chance to preschedule with a specific hostess or to pick from a line up upon arrival.
.
Ads should give you a clue as to what to expect and the location should also be a clue. An ad that says, "Today's schedule: Abby, Brenda, Carol, Daisy, Ellen, Francine ... Zelda" is pretty likely to be a brothel. An ad that says, "Today: Mary and Nancy." is likely to be an apartment style place.
.
If the location is recognizable as an upscale (or any scale) residential building, it is an apartment. If the location is in a commercial area, it is likely to be commercial space converted for commercial use in a brothel-y way.
.
The agency set up you describe sounds like an apartment and probably is not a brothel and won't have a brothel atmosphere.
