don't be afraid to ask questions. we have found some expert people here. i now consider a few people i've met here as real  friends.

do research on etiquette, what is expected of you, what you expect.
learn the signs of potential danger.  leave your gut feeling in the trunk of your car. if it looks too good to be true, it most likely is.

once you have made the decision to look for a provider and are serious about it, BECOME A VIP MEMBER.
no doubt, i feel you won't be taken as  seriously if you don't show you are serious.   BECOME VIP.

walk a mile in your providers shoes..i know i'd want to be protected too huh? so if you are afraid to be screened or your work for the fbi, you may as well leave now.

participate in the boards,  make friends. you will feel more comfortable asking an embarrassing  newbie question.  

we are a couple who were looking for the imaginary unicorn. fmf .  swinging wasn't for us cuz we're not lookin for another male.  my gf thinks she is bi.  more than bicurious. it was her fantasy to enjoy the fruits of a woman and i get the "lucky guy" award..   GO ME!..  

we are a hard to place item being two of us. yet i was determined to try to get her fantasies fulfilled. (without an ounce of selfishness in my thought process  ).

we came to ter and joined free.  asked a couple questions that were immediately answered.  this increased my comfort level in ter. we were directed to go do research and to make sure you are serious about it.(i had no clue hobbying was more than model rockets,trains and remote controlled planes )

we came back after a month of self educating, we knew if we were going to make this happen, we needed to be vip.

once we signed you, we were able to talk with master hobbyists and providers alike via private messaging. this is what will open the door for you too.  be honest,sincere and respectful. most of all have some fun.

LONDON RAYNE..  As for P411, I actually think it would be good for you to join, with your expected hobbying frequency. Now if you said once or twice a year, maybe not. But monthly or more often, it's worth joining. However, it is up to you. As I said in my previous reply it is not "necessary" but definitely "beneficial."

Now as to your last comment, Harbor_View has posted a list of scams, and reposts it every so often to bring it back to the top. He is trying to get it into the self help manual.
