I have gotten so scared of the possibility that I've changed my name (which is now going to slow down my business) & I'm considering not advertising on bp (because it's a common site; anybody w a computer can look at it--no account needed). Many of us share the same concern.  However, if you are that worried, you might consider just getting another hobby.  Getting outed is a risk we all take.  Just be extra careful in screening your clients, and follow your gut.  If something doesn't feel right, don't see the guy.  The money ain't worth it.  You alone can make the decision, we can't do it for you.

Aside from that, I agree with your actual advice.

for many of the ladies involved, it is her job.  But many of them also have real life jobs and use the 'hobby' as supplemental income.
