Join P411: check.
Read TER reviews carefully: check.
Interested in finer things in life: check.
Send polite, well-written email: check.

But I still get asked to show my ID upon meeting.  Yes, I would guess that verifies I'm not using someone else's P411, or provides more security to the provider.  I'm not questioning why it is in the provider's interest.

To me, this makes P411 semi-irrelevant (from my side of the equation) -- my name, my appearance, and some Google searches (where many of us appear on LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.) would quickly show where I live.

You could have 100 references and some providers will still insist on seeing your ID. Yes, it is to verify that you are the P411 member you are claiming to be. Without those 4 numbers off of the piece of ID, she does not know if you are using some other guy's P411! Most cover up their name, and just show the 4 numbers. If you are not comfortable, keep searching. Many providers out there will accept anything at face value. Good luck.

I can tell you that I often asked for ID, because I was not verified thru P411 or DC. For a hobbyist to tell me they were P411 or DC verified was no use to me, because I did not have an account to do a verification.

Now that I am P411 verified, I ask the hobbyist to PM from P411 and/or TER if they have an acct with both. Depending on they account would determine what other verification process I would do with the resources I have. Which may also include me asking for identification.

London, good info.

You are free to see them or not.  Gina of P411 acrtually recommends that the ladies ask for ID besides just using p411. Did you really "read" the P411 site? If you did, you might have noticed this:

"Your P411 Client Id is made up of small bits of "real" info that can be verified by the provider, by looking at a couple of pieces of identification carried in your wallet.

 Example: John-01-a-0000
"John" is a name showing on your driver's license.
"01" is the DAY of birth showing on your driver's license.
"0000" are the last four digits on something you carry in your wallet.
I often recommend that gentlemen temporarily cover the other private information with tape or whiteout, leaving only the photo, matching name, and DAY of birth (on driver's license) and last four digits (on something in wallet) for the provider to check. Of course, it's always a good idea to let the provider know you are going to cover the other information, in case her personal policy would not allow for this.

If you schedule an appointment via P411 and upon arrival refuse to show identification to confirm you are the true account holder, please understand that your provider may exercise her right to refuse to see you. Also keep in mind that your provider has an obligation to report this to P411. Depending on the circumstances, P411 may suspend the account under which the appointment was made until the situation is resolved.

We have a terrible problem with people "sharing" client ids, sometimes to book appointments and sometimes to rip the provider off, or worse. These situations are becoming more common, and can be easily prevented if the provider takes a moment to confirm that the person before her has identification to match the client id.

I strongly encourage the ladies to check identification to make sure it matches the client id, and we are seeing more and more ladies following through, so be prepared! If your client id doesn't currently match your identification as indicated above, please contact us and we can fix it."

Put a piece of tape over what you dont want them to see, or find ladies who dont requre you id.  Pretty simple actually.

Correct! Do not ever assume that a guy is on those sites just because he says so. ALWAYS make him message you FROM THE SITE, or he could be using someone's info.

If a lady is a datecheck member she can see on your profile what your "safe word" is. That's like a final check.
For example, if your "safe word is "peaches" when you arrive she can ask you what us your safe word; if you say "peaches", that should be proof you are who you say you are.

This way she can check your reviews/whitelists. Also include your Date-check/P411 ID.

I always ask for the safe word when I'm screening someone through DC and nobody ever knows what I'm talking about.  But if you log into your account, you will see it.

that he should carry in his wallet to show the provider. Some guys use their DL, others use a hotel membership card. When a guy signs up for P411, he can choose which piece of info in his wallet he wants to use for that last four numbers, so no...it will not always be the guy's DL.

Some may be concerned they may be asked for ID specific enough for a malicious escort to access their private or professional life, beyond what the verifying agency could do, so she could render miserable service but demand an excellent review for

Is it the same as a P411 ID which is needed to access a member's profile?

Ideally, only the owner of the account would know the safe word.  You either know it yourself because it has a meaning for you or you are the only person who can access the acount (or should be) to log in and retrieve it if you don't remember what it is.  Basically to prove that you are indeed the owner of the DC account that you are using for screening purposes.
