I am fairly new to this and only had experience with one. It was an enjoyable experience but I wasn't so sure how to ask the question whether or not she tests herself for STD and how often. We were being safe, of course, but I still wanted to ask...

There isn't really a "delicate" way of asking that so the best is to just be simple and to the point about it.  Any provider with business sense will be enthusiastic to answer the question and not make you feel awkward about asking.

If you want to try and be coy about it I suppose you could just phrase it as "since you are new to this" you were wondering what her recommendation would be for how often to get tested and any good local places to have it done.  This would likely get you the response you want without feeling like you are putting her on the spot.

The best way, is just to be straight forward. If she has nothing to hide, she won't take offense.

I think you should skip even asking, no provider is going to tell you "Never have gotten tested, my vagina is a cesspool of disease."
If you are going to ask, don't do it during 'activities' or post-coitus. The information is useless at that point.

try to pick-up at a bar or club.  If you want everything covered all you have to do is ask.

you're right, my mistake

when the "post reply" window is open, the post being responded to doesn't show the yellow envelope, which made me think it was an alias

thanks for the correction

If you should ask this, then be prepared to be asked the same question, after all how does she know you have not slept with 500 women?

get tested is the question. I myself every 6 weeks, call me paranoid. But it is better to be safe then sorry.

Do you really expect an honest answer to this question? No woman is going to tell you that she never gets tested and the reality is that many don't.

What does it matter?
If she tested positive and she's still out there, would she admit it?

If you need to ask the question perhaps the hobby is not for you. A lady can be infected between test.  Although a lady does get tested it probably not for all STDs.  Assume the ladies have never been tested and do only those activities that are compatible with the risk you are willing to accept.

DO NOT depend on a provider or anyone else to watch out for your health and well being.

if you are going to play this game take responsibility and get tested frequently so that you do not become a vector of illness for others - provider, hobbyist - and whoever is in your home life....

you can get tested anonymously and at a reasonable cost at the link below. I reccomend being tested every three months.

Bring an OraSure instant HIV test with you. Ask the provider to rub in on her gums and you'll have your answer in 5 min. All the other STDs can either be cured with antibiotics, are nearly impossible to catch, or aren't particularly dangerous. Hey, it's worth a shot.

I rarely get asked this, but when a client asks how often I get tested, I get paranoid that he's hinting for bareback. It amazes me how many guys I see who don't want to use a rubber. I've even had guys offer to bring me their papers.

"You look clean, and I'm clean. I got tested last week, I'll even bring you my papers."

They then get a sermon from me about STDs and the dangers of going BB. If you want go uncovered with me, I know you're trying to go BB with every other hooker you see. And those are the ones who never get tested, because they think they're invincible.

Bottom line is, never believe what anyone says about getting tested. You think a provider or client is really gonna admit he has an STD? I've heard talk of a provider who used to be in my area who was open about having herpes, but it's rare that anyone in this line of work would admit to it.

Hard to test for unless she(OR HE) is exhibiting symptoms. Can royally fuck up your life. Is passed vaginally, anally, and ORALLY!

It's the one I fear more than anything else (because it's sneaky and may take over 2 months for you to notice it's even an issue, and in that time, as a provider, who know's who you've passed it onto) and is why many providers insist on CBJ.
