Put on your boxers, wear the towel or come out naked? After coming out half dressed the first time and the provider freaking out and yelling why did you put clothes back on ( I never stripped so fast to put her back at ease) I now just wear the towel. I am not ashamed of my body at all I just wear it for some sort of modesty. Then the towel is close at hand for any clean up that needs to be done.

...handle that. If you have to go down the hall to the bathroom/shower a robe is good. One agency I use provides those.  If the bathroom and bedroom are connected I just come out naked. If it's an indie at her own place I just come out naked. Same for seeing an indie at her hotel.
I have put my boxers back on during a longer session. Playing with clothes on can be fun. I'll ask her to keep some on from time to time.

Don't know why she freaked unless you putting your clothes back on (or some of them anyway) caused her to think LE. Though it likely wouldn't have gotten to the shower stage if that had been the case.

It's kind of silly to get dressed again, only to undress a few minutes later. So I generally come out from the shower in a towel. The provider had usually "gotten comfortable" by this time and is ready to go. The towel allows for easy access to the most important place for more foreplay and comes off quite easily when you're ready to take things to the next level.

If I have to shower, I just put the towel around me, once I approach the bed, she's already naked and the towel drops and my pecker is standing at attention.

No need to put the clothes back on unless it's part of a fantasy thing that was discussed beforehand.

I usually don't shower, because I hobby close to home, and shower, cologne, and powder up right before I leave. However, when I do, I always walk-out naked. I get the impression that providers prefer it that way. Breaking in a shy man seems to be particularly annoying to them and it sometimes makes them uncomfortable when you act nervous (like getting dressed again after a shower). In some instances, it may also relieve them that you aren't LE (LE has been known to get naked in conjunction w/ a sting, but this is extremely rare).

Just walk out naked. You both know what you are there for. Don't be bashful.

Putting your dirty underwear back on after taking a shower pretty much defeats the purpose of taking the shower in the first place...

dirty boxers you obviously took off to shower for a reason. I had a guy come straight from work once in a wife beater and dirty jeans...he takes a shower and then puts the same nasty clothes back on and I am like "wtf" really?

Taking a shower means you are fresh and clean and ready to go. Grab a towel and go see what's going on with your date.

If one is self conscious about getting naked when fully clothed,  then the shower really comes in handy.

Once naked, stay naked my friend.

I often like to be dressed when the fun starts. Taking clothes off is all part of the fun. It's not always a few minutes later either. Sometimes, I like to take my time about these things.

Having said that, in my last session, we had a limited time-frame and we'd both been on the road immediately before meeting, so we took a shower together and did not get redressed.

I always book 2 hours and, as you said, like to take it slow...
