Asking for a picture

I have found a provider who I am interested in spending some time with, who has many good reviews (2 pages), but is asking on her website for a picture (in addition to an employer switchboard number) from people who do not have references - like me.  Am I being overly paranoid, or just paranoid enough?

Thanks

for wanting to be extra cautious, though to tell the truth, I don't see how a photo of you will ensure any type of safety.  Perhaps she feels it will disabuse any bad guys who might want to rip her off.

If it upsets you, then go on to another provider, but if the gal is well reviewed then the possibility of any problems is remote.

I am also puzzled by the photo though.

I ALWAYS say only provide as much information as you are comfortable with.  Discretion is important for both people.  For instance I won't provide a work phone.  Bad experience and my personal preference.

I am sure it will work out.

Just yesterday, as a matter of fact.  It wasn't a required field, so I left it empty.  I know of her, so it wouldn't have stopped me, but it does seem a little creepy to me for some reason.  Not sure why; I've looked at her pictures more than a few times, lol.

I guess rank has it's reward.  I heard from her within an hour, and was screened a few hours later.  Special thanks there to the lovely lady that vouched for me, but it's a great system, once you have some feedstock.

Well maybe it is just me, but I think any provider wanting a picture of you would be one to avoid, I don't care what her reviews look like. Just my .02 cents.
