Maybe you are inquiring with the wrong providers or maybe they would like some information. As you said......you are new to all of this. So maybe you should join a verification service such as P411 and/or datecheck or roomservice and be willing to provide some information to the ladies so that they can screen you.

hobbyists can be discussed, but as a client you are barred from being on them, for obvious reasons.

The reasons for your inquires being ignored could be totally different however.

How you approach a provider is very important.  If you haven't done so already, you should read the Self Help Manual that you will find linked on this page and be sure to follow the discreet methods mentioned in there.

Otherwise you might be contacting providers who are on hiatus, or just inundated with requests and they haven't gotten back to you yet.

please read the Self Help section (formerly known as the Newbie Manual).  Then read back on this board until you can answer every question yourself.  
When you are shopping for potential partners, read the profile, their web site (if they have one), their ad...  then you need to get VIP and read the complete reviews.
When you contact a lady you can not mention money and sex...  that's illegal & they'll not answer & possibly block you.   (If you have a hobby phone & feel you've messed up, change numbers & start over.)  Really they should have a price for an hour of their time.  Avoid those that do not, for now.  
On your first contact you should ask for an appointment within a few days.  I don't like information forms.  I ussually email the offer to provide additional information they require.  It may be hard to break in as many require referances though some have alturnative screening for those who don't have referances, or a work number, or are retired.  Some have a minimum age limit...  
You should have a secure private email...  not linked to your regular email.   Folks in the hobby...  on both sides...  shy away from anybody who does seem to do everything as expected...

This might be highly entertaining, are there public reviews of hobbyists that I may peruse? Anybody care to pm me with some links. I'm a little burned out with reading about the guys perspective on the ladies, and I know how the women love to dish. Do tell.

Yes providers have their own blacklist. But you have do something pretty nasty or bad to get there.
I don't know if there is a blacklist here but on my local boards there are.

A hobbyist like yourself can't really look at the girl's blacklist. We make it that way so there are no guys getting revenge on us and we can tell the truth.

Chances are if you have not crossed any lines,stood a provider up, ripped a girl off, or smell or have bad hygiene then you will not be on a blacklist. If you're a newbie without any references that could be a reason for getting ignored. Not many reputable providers are newbie friendly but there are some!(Me in particular! lol)

I'm not sure WHERE you are looking for providers but that makes a big difference as well.
