I think that the best way of overcoming the anxiety you have is to spend a lot of time on TER and read other people's accounts of how much they enjoy the hobby.

I was going to call an agency in my area and became so nervous I didn't call. How do you get over these nerves? What are the chances of getting arrested? We all have the fear of the first encounter.  It's just something you have to deal with yourself, there is no magic wand or potion to make it go away.  If she has 36 reviews, and is on p411, you are good to go.  Make the date!!!!  Personally, I prefer indies to agency girls, but that's my preference.  C'mon, go for it.  If you don't make the first date, you will never have a second......

It's normal to have the nerves. Your not the only one. I sometimes get nerves and I've been doing this a while. Rest assured the person on the phone is accustomed to talking to callers with nerves so they won't think anything of it. If you have checked and as you say the lady has that many reviews. It's all good. Go for it.  I use an agency they're fine. Be prepared to be screened and be ready with how long an appointment you want and who you want to see. Also be ready with an alternative time in case she isn't available for your first request. Ex: 2 pm appointment if she isn't available for 1 pm. Might want to have an alternative lady chosen if you have another your interested in. Have fun.

i personally prefer agencies..over time you will get to know the girl who runs it..they do all the legwork for you..they set you up with all you want and who you want..they can even get you girls you could never get on your own..developing a good working relationship with them is the key..once they know you they actually go out of their way to make you happy..no verification..no bullshit..you tell them who when and where..thats it ..they do the rest..i have dealt with so-called independents early in my hobbying  days..most are disasters..they give you phony addresses..you show up they dont answer the phone..if they dont have plenty of good reviews odds are you will be left holding the bag..i trust my agency girls and they trust me..that is really all that matters..

I've worked for agencies and the are good parts and bad.  If you are calling an agency, it is not the police.  They are a licenced and an established business.  I guess its possible that the police are staking out the agency, but nothing like that has ever happened in my state.  You can see real pictures of the girls and the phone girls can suggest the most popular girls.  The down side; of the fee you pay the girl when she gets to your room, the escort only gets to keep around $20-30.  Generous tipping is required if you want to have any fun, otherwise the girl will just dance in sexy panties and give you a back rub.
