TER and like reviews (that are neither fake  or of a delisted member or  Provider)  are a resource that add  value to the website.
I am sure there must be exceptions but I believe older posts even by expelled members and delisted providers stay online unless TER determines otherwise.  

Every discussion board post and review is TER property.

When you post something on the board, you have about a 4 hour edit window. After that the only way to change it or delete it is to ask admin to do so, and they will only do it if there is a good reason.

If there are one or two in particular you would like to see disappear, I would think you could talk admin into doing that (I'm assuming it would be fairly obvious as to the reasons).

Not knowing your motives or the lengths you're willing to go, and I'm not sure as of today but it used to be such that if you changed your TER screen name then all your old posts would then change to that new name. If this still works (as I'm sure someone here will verify) then that might provide you with a suitable alternative.

If you change your username, all the old posts will be under the new name. it doesn't work for anything posted under alias though. Those will stay under the same alias. (even if you change your alias) You are also correct in that you can delete one or two older posts by asking admin to do it. If there is a valid reason, (legal, safety, etc) they will delete the post. But I don't know about deleting all the prior posts. Even banned members old posts remain up.

I mistakenly made a post which described items...  the combination of which would have confirmed my identity if found by others.  I sent a link to admin & it took less than a day.
