I am attempting to whitelist. I was told to type in his name on here in user name . then hit submit referral. its giving me the provider review form. Do we fill that out but for the client even though it says the juicy details ect ect. or am i doing this wrong?

click on Search, then click 'search by reviewers'
type his handle in the box, click search and his list of reviews should pop up.  I don't know exactly what the page will look like because providers get a different view than hobbyists.  there should be a place to submit referral on the page.  you do not have to fill in any information as far as I know.

You are not registered as a provider. If you were, then under your handle at the top left of your post it would say " see my ter reviews." if you have reviews, you need to contact admin and have them link your profile to your handle. If you don't have reviews, then you don't have a profile, and you are not a provider in ter eyes. Of course if you are not a provider you can not whitelist someone. You need to get your first review posted first. If you do not have any reviews, why is the guy who wants you to whitelist him, not posting a review of you?

Once you get your first review, nyou are then considered to be a provider as far as TER is concerned.  Until then, it really does not matter what you are, other than just another member.

Previous poster is right about reviews, if you have some, you need to use the 'contact us' and ask admin to link them to your handle.  That way, every time you post, the link 'see my TER reviews" will accompany your post, giving guys easier access to your reviews.  Yes, you do have to have reviews in order to get the limited free VIP available to providers, which means then you can whitelist a client, even if he has not written a review of you.

about this i apparently am not listed as provider despit having reviews. Which explains why when i tryed to white list i recieved a form to fill out as if its a review for me. I messaged them again to ask them to remove.

you have credit for a review as if you were a guy. The review is of course written as if you were seeing a male provider. They approved and posted it.  You'll need to get that removed too.

Get some of them to review you first, so you have some reviews, then do the "contact admin" thing to link your profile to your handle. Then you will be known as a provider instead of just a member. Then you can whitelist and do other things. (limited provider vip, eventually get on the PO board etc) If you already have reviews then get them to link it. If you don't have reviews get some. If you saw ter guys and yu are willing to whitelist them, they should be willing to review you. It is not a prerequisite to write a reviiew to be whitelisted, or vice versa, but it should be a courtesy on their part, especially as you are new here and trying to get established.

By the way its "admin" you contact, not the "mods" for all these issues. Mods only take care of the boards. They have nothing to do with reviews, whitelisting, or policy.

Good luck

As soon as I saw it, I tried to submit a problem report and it says "A problem report has already been submitted"

Never heard of this happening before.  Get it removed.  Ask a client to review you. Then you can whitelist someone..

and for right now at least her review of the guy is showing as the most recent review on her profile.
I'm trying to figure out why her "review" was approved and posted.

but stop being so impatient. Many people here have given you advice, such as "read the self help guide." It is all in there. Had you read it, and followed some of the other advice given by Swim, Big Papa, Gambler, myself and many others, you wouldn't have all this trouble. Be patient, listen to the people who have been around (providers and hobbyists). Try not to jump in with both hands and feet at the same time, and you might do well here. Good luck.

I just don't get it.

I click on My TER.... and it doesn't have a tab called My White List.
Yet, I move over to the tab called MORE.... click on it... and there is a pop-up called "My Referrals"...Not knowing what it is, you click on it and guess what?  It shows who White Listed you.

Why is that tab called My Referrals instead of My White List???
Or why isn't the White List name eliminated altogether and replaced instead by the word Referrals???
Or, better yet (in my humble opinion), why not change both names of White List and My Referrals throughout TER to the easy-to-use-and-understand-and-operate word used by Date-Check called "Verifications"? Isn't that a more understandable word for us to all grasp?

I joined Date-Check and TER the same week (early December, I think it was).
Today I have 15 Verifications there. 14 of them are providers that are active on TER with reviews. One is not because I wrote a review and was informed she was "Delisted".
Yet on TER I only have 2 White Lists. In spite of submitting reviews on about 13+ providers.

My opinion?
The TER White List thingie is hard for us to find... it is hard for providers to use... and it hurts us Hobbyists by not having more of the wonderful Providers we have been with and reviewed listing us here by confirming "Yes, I have seen this Reviewer/Hobbyist" (using whatever TER's White List name or anything else you want to call it.

Perhaps a way to encourage Providers to take the extra step to say they saw us is to have their review show up as being written but not available for them to read until they press some sort of button acknowledging a visit.

For now, I encourage all Providers who will be my first time appointment with them to view my Date-Check account. But, who knows, maybe one day I'll want to see someone from TER who is not a Date-Check user and then I may be stuck with a "No" response because I have too few "White Lists".

Just a 1-1/2 month old Newbie's humble opinion....

If you click on your reviews, Or if anyone clicks on your reviews for that matter, the "Whitelist Referrals show up under the reviews. If you want Whitelist referrals, then ask the ladies that you reviewed to submit them. Some ladies do it automatically. Some will do it if asked. Some won't do it. As for why it is called the Whitelist, instead of verifications, TER explains that if you read the self help section. It is because of blacklists. There are many blacklist sites where hobbyists are blacklisted, for negative things, so they wanted to create an alternative positve site. Hence "whitelist" As for whitelist vs referral, I don't see that as a big deal, since they actually call it a "whiltelist referral." If you are really upset about it and want to try to change things, then the Policy and Suggestion Board is the place for that. not the newbie board.

...a review site the White List doesn't get much attention.  Date-Check and the other sites are for referrals (verifications). TER is a review site. The White List is an extra.  I have a couple. TER ladies you have seen would probably white list you if you asked them.

I just found your profile and you have 8 reviews. The stupid new one of you reviewing the hobbyist got removed. That is good. Now you just need to get your profile linked to your handle. I suggest you work on that (which should have been done long ago) before you do anything else here.

You can email "the mods" until you are blue in the face, but we still can't do a thing for you. We only have control over the discussion boards, and even then only our own boards.

You need to be emailing or PMing "Admin", not the mods.

The explanation seems fair enough but it's absolutely appalling that the review ever went up in the first place. I filled the report as soon as I read it.

Prior to that review going up asking if i am correctly whitlisting because its makn me include juicy details! I was like this cant be right. i had messaged them on this subject that same day. It definetly didnt seam right. but i filled it out any how and was assuming. {yes makn ass out myself!} that theyd NOT put it up if wasnt whitelist since i was messaging them about my questioning wether it was whitelist form . Thank goodness we dont have to do that when white listing. i remeber i kept trying to put threw and wouldnt let me cuz they make you have certain length in juicy details sections. you like have to have at least several paragraphs! i kept attempting to submit with minimal juicy details. It respond with red writing saying theres not enough text in juicy details! so i was goin on and on to get it accepted.

I am definetly a renaisance woman. i am musically, artistically smart. And majority of my talents lie in the left brained activities centers. i am great massuse, painter cook ect. But computer stuff and semmingly right brained activity subjects i have difficulty with. I unfortunetly took basic math at quincy college not one but two semesters in a row. with a tutor mind you. And failed miserably both times. My brain just doesnt get certain stuff. youl have to forgive me for annoying and upsetting every one.

Congratulations. You now have your profile linked to your handle. Everyone can now see you are a provider. Now you can whitelist people. Also congratulations on your writing improvement. That post was a lot easier to read than many of your previous posts.

There are quite a few ladies posting here under a name other than the one that appears on their reviews.  Their screen names don't link to their reviews and it's completely intentional.  The cat is pretty much out of the bag now in this case but not all providers want their screen name and their professional name to be joined at the hip.  Quite a few hobbyists do the same...

...right brain, left brain stuff. (Take my word for it I know what I'm talking about on that subject.)
But I know anyone can do anything they set their mind to do. Maybe not as well as others that have a knack for it but still much better than they think. All it takes is a little attention. Most things don't need to be done in a hurry they need to be done well. This post is easy to read and understand. My one suggestion is don't write on here like you would when composing a text. You aren't the only one that has done that and been asked to stop.
As for figuring things out here. Take your time. Read and comprehend. Again you don't have to do it all in a day. Spend more time reading than posting.

But this lady was on here asking for help whitelisting, and several of us told her she either needed to get reviews or if she had reviews she needed to get them linked. In any case hers are linked now. I totally understand some providers not wanting the link, but then I don't think they would come on here asking for that kind of help.
