Their are a few but not many providers who say in their ads that texts or email are the preferred method of contact. What does this say about the provider? Is this a red flag? Or is it really no big deal. Contact by text, I'd imagine, might really turn on some of the hardcore younger digital internet junkies. Maybe?

providers much prefer e-mail..they need time to verify..texts are used on the day of the appointment..most wont give their number out until the night before..actual calls are rarely used..most are nutjobs or time wasters that call..

It says they don 't want to be bothered with all the calls by tire kickers, weirdos, and nut cases. It's a lot easier for them to go thru emails, on their time. Many will not even give you there phone # until after they've screened you. Providers who prefer email may l want to speak with you briefly over the phone before they see you. I prefer email myself, and even seen providers with never a phone conversation. However, if you're the type that needs a "connection", pass on the "email/text only" providers.

And I'm one of those people who can't ignore a ringing phone (will someone answer that, GODDAMNIT).
I rarely call a provider unless it's right before an appt and something is amiss.  

For me, a text or an e-mail doesn't require an immediate response.  You (or the provider) can reply at a convenient free moment.   I think of a phone call = immediate response;  Text Msg =  Response anywhere from 5 minutes to 30 minutes; E-mail = reply the same day.  I must admit that I like it when a provider texts me out of the blue--it makes me want to fuck her.  I'm sure she knows that, I'm a pretty easy mark, lol.  --z

I don't know who is on the other end of the email or text conversation, and I don't like dealing with third parties, unless it's specified upfront.

I don't want to talk on the phone until after the screening because (big fat number one) I don't know who I'm talking to.  You could be anyone...including someone trying to gather information on me.  I used to be ok with texting to get screening information but it got to be too annoying having my number out there and people who didn't read my website or even the two sentences in an ad texting stupid shit like, "hey baby!" thinking I'm going to respond to that.

I just can't even deal with it anymore so my number is not available in my profiles, website or ads.  You can have my number when we have a set appointment and it's time for you to get directions...I only answer calls from clients I have seen...and they usually know I prefer a text because a call means I have to stop what I am doing and my life is fucking busy...calls are for when pertinent information needs to be exchanged or a good client who prefers talking over text because of their text phobia

That should tell you something. Can you imagine spending your day fielding calls from mongers, perverts, etc? Me neither.

To me, these Top whatever lists are like the Wall of Focker.

To think that the Top 10 girls are the hottest is to use the same logic that the hottest girls in the school are the cheerleaders.  Not even close, in my mind.

I think at some point there needs to be a phone conversation.  It doesn't have to be upfront, but before the appointment, if I'm not speaking directly to the provider, I'm just not doing the session.

The only exceptions are:

1.  She says upfront there is an assistant involved.  Then I need to speak with the assistant.

2.  There is an agency involved.  Then I need to speak with the agency.

I don't do stuff over just email and text.  No way.

Not ripping on those who do.  I just don't.

It is a lot more convenient for me versus having my phone# posted on an ad.I do not think being an email or text preference means red flag.A gent has done his research to make sure the provider is reputable so her preferred contact method should not be an issue.
I used to have a phone# posted and there was just too much bs calls that I just got tired of it.
It seemed I used to get calls when people are around or somewhere where I cannot answer right away.
This is why I like email as I can respond quickly to an email and if it is a time waster I hit delete and keep it moving.I do give out my phone# after a gent is screened and I always want to have a quick phone conversation when meeting new friends.
Every provider does what works best for them but many are email only for a reason.

it may sound counter productive, but companions are rarely seating in their incall by the phone waiting for it to ring.

they may be in appointment, running errands, taking a class, spending time with their family, grocery shopping .. in other words having a LIFE.

9 out of 10 times if someone calls me, I won't be able to say anything other than "thank you for calling, could you please send me an email".

Even if i have an opportunity to talk on the phone, i will still ask for all the pertinent screening information to be EMAILED.

I've also wondered about the providers with no listed email address, text or call only.  Are these ladies more prone to answering the phone/text during a session?  That's something that shouldn't be tolerated in my opinion.

This is the way I prefer. With emails, I can respond at my convenience so it's a lot less disruptive.

emails would be easier for providers to deal with.  Myself, as a potential client, I prefer initial contact to be email.  I just don't like making the initial contact on the phone.  Most of the ads I have seen everywhere do not want text msgs, which is fine with me.  I would have to really want to see someone that wanted first contact by phone, I just don't like it.

E-Mail/Text Only.. Until Day of Appointment

In the last 1.5 years, I have completely switched over to e-mail/text only, not because I feel the phone is intrusive, but because my children are getting too old for me to answer the phone around anymore, lol. An e-mail or a text, I can answer at will with no problem.. a phone call, there are only certain times in which I can do so. It also helps alleviate the time-wasters, as those who do chose to call, and are serious, will leave a detailed message...those who are just calling & not serious, will 98% of the time, not leave a message. An e-mail or text with the requested appointment time, along with the gents screening info, is much easier to keep track of, then trying to write down the info(especially if driving or in a store, etc).

If you've ever had your cell phone sound off while standing at the urinal in a public restroom rather than give the subtle, innocuous tone announcing a text message; you can relate.

I don't need or want those want to jack off on the phone while they ask you a million stupid questions just to keep you talking while they jack off, tire kickers, needy looking for off the clock time, time wasters, perverts, and worst of all hagglers.  Those who just see a picture and pick up the phone and just start calling to ask me all the questions that are clearly answered on my website are discourteous.  

The number one form of time wasting is the phone call for which I use a prepaid 2nd phone and I don't want to waste my minutes on those mentioned above either.

I do need a brief phone conversation, preferably the day of our meeting to confirm, break the ice, and give out location information.
