We've emailed back and forth for some time ( a few months actually), but this will be first time we meet... actually first time we are in the same city at same time, which has been the problem to date.
I arrived a few days earlier. I think, but she has not stated explicity, that she arrives in town tomorrow.
Also, english is not her first language, so we might have a little confusion there.
As best I can tell, she is not a TER member, or frequent visitor here.
When a guy is hosting at a hotel, when is the appropriate time to give her the room number?
One gal has asked for that bit of info two days before our scheduled date, and I cannot tell, but she seems a little upset that I have not given this tidbit. I figure that bit is not needed for screening.
Usually I tell the gal to call me when she is getting close, and I give her the room number then, and usually they are just fine with that.
This is OUTCALL to Your hotel room. Why would she need the room number 2 days in advance?
If it were INCALL to Her hotel room, she'd not give the room number until you were on final approach.
I'm with you on this one. You might not even have arrived yet. Rooms can get changed. After you've scoped the hotel out, you will probably share details on how to enter the building & where the elevators are... on the same call. skb
But if they are demanding something and getting upset over something that they clearly shouldn't...well that is enough for me to steer clear.
If a guy gives me the room number early. great. I usually do not want to talk on the phone while driving so I get the room # before I leave for the appt. I don't need it ANY earlier. Sorry you are going through this

Most ladies will want to call the hotel to make sure that *you* are actually checked in before they head out for an outcall. This kinda' wraps some of the screening up in a neat package. It's how I avoided what I am sure was a sting once... and why I simply won't do outcall for anyone that I have not met before.
Can you turn this scenerio over in your mind and imagine outcall to a home? You bet a smart lady is going to make sure the property address exists and that it is you not a vacant lot.
Actually, you do not need a room number to call and see if a dude has checked in. You just need his name and hotel.
That being said, I was not being serious. I would not make a lady call me minutes before the appointment to get the room number. I bet that hardly any quality providers would find this acceptable.
When she calls to say she's on her way, or when she calls from the parking lot, or whenever she asks for it. I've never had a lady ask for it two days ahead of time, but if I was comfortable with her, I don't see any reason not to give it to her.
I'd rather have it a couple of hours beforehand just in case we have trouble getting in touch right before I leave. Or I have the gent call me with it after he checks in, if he's not going to be there long before I will.
Several days in advance, while acceptable, isn't necessary for me.
