I began escorting in the Spring, so this is a question for those with experience providing or hobbying during the dark months.

Does anyone (especially providers of GFE, due to their relatively high exposure to seasonal bugs) stop giving mouth-to-mouth during the Fall and Winter?
I'd rather not, I love kissing and it would feel unnatural to me not to, but I want to avoid catching or passing on whatever virus will soon be going around.
And colds are such drag-on messy affairs.  Even after you're no longer contagious, you can't make dates until the last of the symptoms are gone....which can be a week after you're feeling well.
I made it through last winter without catching anything, but my kissing was just recreational then.

So...what's a provider to do?  Refrain until Spring?  Take ecchinacea and hope for the best?
Any preventative advice, folk-wisdom, or experience from ladies or gentlemen is welcome!

Thanks :)

the mouth is actually an inhospitable environment owing to saliva, etc.

So, I'm not sure it would make all that much difference.

until spring.  Take all normal precautions to remain healthy such as washing your hands frequently, getting plenty of rest, and eating right (veggies, vitamin C, etc.).  Yes, colds and flu can be a PITA.

How about planning a trip to sunny Florida during the winter.  We would love to see you in Orlando or Tampa.

I got the flu shot and yes I'll be getting the H1N1 flu shot when its available too. Being a GFE you are prone to come down with more in the cold an flu season. There's just so much personal contact. In my case i travel a lot too and planes are little flying petri dishes!

As much as i dont want to, this season I'm going to ask that gents wash up when at my incall even if they  say they just came from a shower. I sure hope this doesn't get me labeled "all business" or "germ phobic" but this is projected to be a very bad cold and flu season.

Im also going to turn anyone away if they show up with sniffles/cough/etc though i would hope they would let me know they were under the weather BEFORE they show up and give be the option to decline.

other then those few precautions there's not much you can do but take good care of yourself and keep your own immune system strong

Jenny :)

Any hobbiest worth his salt will not see a provider if there is any inkling of a cold, flu, etc.  A good hobbiest is just as concerned about the ladies health as his own.  Besides, what goes around comes around.  Experienced hobbiest and providers will reschedule if there is a question.  Just my thought from many years of hobbying

I don't know how many hobbyists book sessions while they are sick, but I can tell you from personal experience that many providers still work even when sick. I have seen many providers over the years that had no business working because of illness. I guess if it is a matter of getting evicted or risking infecting a client some providers choose paying the bills.

While I don't approve of a provider risking infecting others, I at least can understand it. I can't say the same about hobbyists, there is no excuse for hobbying while contagious.

she might be coming down with something.  She sniffled all during the date; stopping to blow her nose frequently.  On her way out of my hotel room, she gave me one of those airfizz capsules (can't remember the name of these).  Yes, less than 2 weeks later I had a big ass cold and got an earache because I had to fly on a plane to a business meeting.

Right, did not see her again.

Like anyone with any consideration I will always be freshly showered.  If the lady requested I do so again I wouldn't have any objection, but if she offered to join me I would be delighted.

Fortunately, my favorite provider told me she had a bad cold when I called to schedule a meeting last week.  I've been seeing her for almost a year so that may have made the difference.
