Hey Everyone,

Long time lurker, first time poster.  After almost a year of research, I have taken the appropriate steps toward making my first appointment.  This is a long one, but if you have the time I would really appreciate some feedback from the veteran hobbyists and the willing providers here to make sure I'm on the right track:

- I've signed up for VIP TER and P411.  I haven't filled out my P411 profile yet - is this something that I should do?  And if so, should I be filling out EVERYTHING or just a handful of things?  I know for certain that I will not be adding a photo...

- I've used aliases when possible, but haven't been completely secretive (bitcoin, tor, money orders, tracphone, etc.) given that I'm single and escorting (as long as it isn't money in exchange for sex) is legal.  I am only exchanging money for time.  With that said though - LE is one of my two main concerns, but I plan to mitigate this risk by seeing only well reviewed girls (10-20 reviews by reputable reviewers), only do outcalls, and never ever discuss money for sex under any circumstances.

- My other chief concern is STDs so I made sure to get vaccinated for HPV and I will also request to be covered for everything.  As much as I like the idea of BBBJs, I don't think I can accept the associated risk.  Though that decision may change with time and comfort level.  I'm not sure how I feel about kissing, but I feel like being intimate without it would be awkward (and from what I've read the risk of transmission is low) so I plan to assume that risk.

- Since I'm a newbie with no references I plan to find a well reviewed newbie friendly provider in my area.  I understand that every lady has their own screening process so I may have to give up more personal information than I am comfortable with during my first few appointments until I have accumulated enough OKs.  In general, how much info do providers request from newbies? And does how recent her reviews are matter?  The woman I'm currently interested in likes to keep her reviews on the DL and has plenty of positive ones, but the last one she had here was the end of last year - warning sign?

- My next step is finding a 4 or 5 star hotel that does not require a keycard to get to the rooms.  From researching the board of my region, asking which ones to use in a public forum is a bad idea.  So I plan to ask the girl if she has any recommendations on where to stay before confirming my appointment.  Good or bad idea?  Is it even all that important that the hotel doesn't require a keycard?

- Last thing, the provider I really would like to see requires 2 okays on P411 before dating her.  Do you think it would be a bad idea to ask if I could see her even though I'm a newbie?  Should I just see women I'm less interested in until I get the two okays?

That is all!  If I'm doing something wrong or thinking about this incorrectly please let me know!  I really appreciate anyone who can offer me advice.  Thanks in advance!

I'm only a few months ahead of you in P4P involvement, but I will share a few of my observations...

My profile has just some basic stuff filled in, nothing too specific.  Only thing on my profile I've been asked about is the fact that I stated I review occasionally (yeah I still don't have any reviews, I know).
And I would just as soon post my home address as a photo on P411. You will hear some opinions about the degree of risk, but it's really up to you.  Your risk = your decision.
I have no willpower to resist BBBJ, kissing, whatever, if SHE is offering / into it.  But I have had non-kissing dates that went really well and not awkward.
Also: Depending on your age, you may not have been vaccinated yet for Hep A&B. Asking her won't hurt.  
Myself, I started with a Newbie Friendly provider literally same day my P411 membership was approved, then worked up to Basic plus 1, Basic plus 2, etc, from there.

I wouldn't do that if I were the OP. It might be perceived as time-wasting, or that he's disrespectful in that the provider was clear about her policy and he ignored it.  

Instead, follow through with the plan to see a couple of newbie-friendly providers, and get a couple of OKs. Then ask that dream provider for a date.

Guess I was making an assumption that she might have an alternative verification method, for example on her website.

Thanks for the feedback so far guys!  It's been helpful. I'll leave my 1st choice provider alone until I have the appropriate OKs and I'll check with my doctor to see if I've been vaccinated for Hepatitis (I feel like I have been but I can't remember).  

What about the provider that doesn't have recent reviews?  Is that a good idea?  I ask because she's one of the few newbie friendly providers I like in my area (that's also within my budget).

And any advice on the hotel situation?

Okay, so I answered these in order of the questions asked ...

I would fill out the info in your P411 profile that you feel comfortable with, it does generally help the provider know what to expect without you having to discuss any graphic details. If there are things people should know about you, definitely include them.

Yep, you're just paying for time, and if you're working with providers in good standing you shouldn't have a problem. If they screen you well and don't discuss graphic things, it's a good thing! Also, if you get a bad vibe, trust it. Your intuition is usually right!

There is NOTHING wrong with not doing BBBJ! Always stay in your comfort zone. Playing safe is the best bet in my opinion.  

If a lady is well-reviewed, I would generally trust in her screening process. You can take a look at mine on my website for a bit of an example. TRUST ME, it's purely for safety. We want to remain just as anonymous as you do! I just don't want to meet with someone who could rape, murder or rob me. Although rare, it does happen.

Also, lots of ladies don't like reviews, and actually request to be "delisted" aka taken off review sites or ask that clients don't write reviews of them. Some find it distasteful, some think it's a violation of privacy, and some don't want graphic details that could help LE out there.

As for the keycards, search through the Yelp and Trip Advisor reviews of the hotels and it is almost always in there whether they're required or not. You can search the reviews for words like "elevator" or "key card" and see what comes up. Depending on the city, local ladies may be able to recommend. No key card is usually best unless you're meeting for drinks beforehand.

If you really want to see her, just ask. Be courteous and let her know that you totally understand if she can't. Hope this helped!

so this requires the provider to meet you before going up to her room. In Vegas where most dates are outcall, the client usually meets the provider in the casino or one of the lobby bars. They share a drink and then head upstairs. However, if you're doing incall, and at a hotel, where the traffic in the lobby may be minimal, if the provider has to come down to the lobby to meet a client this can raise red flags.  There are ways around having to have a key card, like waiting in the lobby near the elevator and as the hotel guests get on the elevator, you just walk on with them.

reserved for members of their rewards program. These floors require the key card to be inserted in a slot in the elevator before you can push the button for the restricted floor. When doing outcall, I have sometimes met a lady either a floor or two above or below my floor and then used my key to get to the desired floor. This is less likely to cause a red flag than meeting a very attractive woman in the lobby area.

Thanks a lot LylaMinx - very helpful stuff.  I'll do my research on the hotels and I'll most likely go with the not-so-recently reviewed provider.  I don't want to punish a good provider unfairly simply because she hasn't run into any TER reviewers lately or she likes to keep the number of reviews to a minimum for privacy reasons.

Does reviews within the past year sound like a good rule of thumb?
