I'm assuming you're new so trying to establish yourself

Post to your regional board (and do so with the knowledge and intent) to present a professional and likable image.

Take advantage of the 1 ad posted every 7 days.

Make sure your ad site is well done, professional (or at least well thought through) and easy to navigate. I've heard others say to make sure it's both mobile and TOR/Secure browser friendly which generally means limited scripting. No password and not redirect to other sites pop ups.

YMMV on this but some say try to find a meet & greet in your area.

Be ready and when you get your appointments make sure you are prompt to arrive or ready to receive.

Might also try networking with other providers in your area -- but again that will probably be YMMV as you will also be their competition.

can give you your first review.
They just leave the provider number blank.

Am I wrong about that?

There are some restrictions as to who can submit reviews... see especially #12 in the review guidelines (link).

Besides the ideas above, one way to get your first review from a reputable hobbyist is to ask an experienced provider in your area to refer a client to you, with the understanding he/she will write a review.  I know many providers in my area who are glad to help a new provider get off to a good start. If you don't know any local providers well, you could post on your local board and ask if a provider would do a referral for you.

The most important thing is to remember to give him a session worth his time writing it.  It also is going to set the stage on how well you're going to be received.

I've taken chances on seeing someone whose brand new a bunch of times.  They all were wonderful, showed no signs of being nervous or jittery.  We pick up on those vibes, so be yourself and remember, there is only one real difference between us and a civvie - we made a decision to invest our time and money on you where we could have gone a different route.

contains much information about does and don'ts about when you can put a link to your website (you did a good job of this above), restrictions on free ads (1 per every 7 days) even if you have to pick a NY city near you or even use the "other" listing.

Good luck.

I am from a small town in NY that isn't listed on the ad boards. I also don't know of any local providers. I'm not sure where to go from here
My mindset is in large urban so if my suggestions aren't realistic, that's why.

1. How far do you have to travel to get the larger cities or their metro areas? I'm thinking:
a. NYC metro area (includes Westchester, Stamford CT, ...)
b. Buffalo
c. Rochester
d. Albany
Can you handle an outcall round trip commute (1 hour each way vs 4 hours each way)?

Can you handle scheduling a full day (or more) at a larger city incall? Check-in 3 PM on Monday; check out noon on Tuesday = time to schedule a few meetings on M night and T morning.

Post your TER ads to those closest cities.  "I am based in Smalltown but I plan to visit your Bigcity on April 4-5. No reviews yet, but pics are real, yada, yada, yada ... TER reviewers get my intro discount."  Book a  (use priceline?) hotel room and hope for the best.

2. You cannot negotiate or barter for a good review. You can provide inducements to get someone more likely to write a review. E.g., Weekly or monthly specials. Do not make your discount or special open ended or people will think it is good forever.
"Special rate until April 6 for TER members with reviews. Pay for 60 min, get 90 min." (Or "$100 discount.")
Depending on how that goes, try it again:
"Special rate until April 14 for TER members with reviews. Pay for 60 min, get 90 min."
and so on. You will need TER VIP in order to PM someone claiming to be on TER with reviews.
Lots of variations on how to structure your specials.

If someone complains that they are not a TER reviewer but that they want the discount, tell them to come on over, write a review and they can get the "TER Reviewer" discount on their second visit.

The "small town" problem does have my stymied.

doesn't have a profile on P411. I want to feel safe from LE. I would consider seeing someone on P411 without TER review. You might want to become a member of P411 then it might increase your chance of getting review. IMHO

I don't think you can get on P411 as a provider without reviews...but I could be wrong.

escorts. If that's true then it won't work. I wonder if 2 providers friends can vouch for her P411 application.

...she can't get reviewed without a registration and she can't get a registration without a review?

...can submit a review for a provider (the OP in this case). Anyone can read the boards and view much of the site. No registering required. Some things are VIP only and you must register (ie. sign up on TER) in order to purchase VIP. You don't have to be VIP to write reviews. Reviews earn you free VIP days. A provider doesn't have to do anything on TER to be reviewed.

I realize you may already know some of what I said but it may be useful for any newbies reading this thread.

...to join P411. You may use two provider references if you don't want to give P411 your information. A provider must have some reviews (don't remember the number) to join P411.

I think a provider may join P411 with clients who are P411 members as references. Not sure about that. Hopefully someone who knows will chime in.

A referral from a p411 client in good standing can get a provider on p411 without reviews. To get on with reviews a provider needs at least one review from an established reviewer. It also does not have to be a TER review. There are other review sites that P411 accepts.

You may need to go to a nearby larger town too to get the ball rolling.  Finding a seasoned provider to duo with can help as well.  You can email me if you want.

How do I get reviews from a "seasoned" hobbyist so I can become a registered provider with TER?
A lot clients don't like to write reviews on pay to play websites because it's illegal business.
