I haven't worked with Pam, but I did pay a deposit once. I did it by purchasing a "money card", loading cash onto it and then informing the provider of the serial #'s on the card so she could get the cash. This might not be the way Pam does it though.

I don't think that will make you look too newbie and you will know exactly what to do. I would put a deposit down on a resort vacation, day at the spa, or rental truck without asking specifics.

I have yet to hear of anyone getting pissed about a guy trying to send them money lol. I do mine through Western Union or Walmart money orders, mailed to a P.O. box or random address. Works every time. Leave the name blank as well as yours, and send. Some people also use Paypal and Greendot which I do not suggest, but it is what it is.
