Screening & Scheduling Priority Etiquette

Before I provide screening information, I usually like to know two things:

1. Can we actually meet? Does your availability match mine?
2. Do you offer the types of services I'm interested in (I'm not talking about a detailed list of acronyms, but, for example, a Tease & Denial session)?

I just feel that, before I reveal my identity to a provider, putting myself at a certain degree of risk, the likelihood that this will actually lead to a session should be established. I'm not asking for an incall address -- just, do you have 6:00-7:00pm free on this date.  

Increasingly, my experience is that providers won't engage in any conversation before screening is complete. And then, once they've gone to the trouble of screening if the logistics don't work out, the effort is wasted. And, so is my time, because I've had to wait for them to complete screening. On shorter notice arrangements, this becomes particularly troublesome.

Wondering whether other Hobbyists agree with me?

ou want to know if you can "actually meet" before she screens you. How stupid is that. IF you pass her screening then you can "actually meet".  What on earth makes you think she will commit to a time just because you asked for it.  

Does she offer the type od services you are interested in... Do your fucking research. That is what TER is for. You don't like acronyms then read all the reviews, back channel, and yes, just fucking aske her.  

And if you reveal your identity you are even stupider than I thought

What does her website say about screening?

Most likely, that she requires this info, and time to conduct her research, before she will contemplate meeting with you.  Since we hobbyists do not have websites nor reviews here, it seems reasonable that we should provide them with the info they request.  I have always done so, and never had an issue with that in hobbying for the past 11 plus years.  Then again, I only see ladies I have either met at M&G's, or whose reputation is stellar regarding performance and safety, which should be enough.  But that's just me...

They should be okay at least letting you know if a time/date works before a full screening....

Especially if they ask for real name, job, phone number, your mother's maiden name etc on the screening form.  

Typically my first email to a new provider will be short, with just the desired date/time/location, length, incall/outcall, and the fact that I'm P411 verified. If they let me know the time/location etc. works, they'll typically ask me to then provid emy P411 ID or 2 references or whatever, which I provide, and once that is cleared I go into more detail of services interested etc.

But if they completely ignore my first email's basic questions and just go "fill out this two page screening form before any further discussion" then I leave them and look for someone else. To me that just shows a complete disrespect for my time and a "I'm a princess provider, do things my way or the highway". I'm not about to provide my real name/DOB/profession/my work number to someone who can't even be bothered to let me know if they're free on a Wednesday next week at 6:00PM.  

I've stuck 100% with providers who at least will answer basic questions (not exactly asking "how much is Greek?" in the first email), and haven't had a bad experience.

This is what I have to say -2 cents

Like Devin said asking a few questions about fetish is ok but defintely get screening out the way, you will appeal more serious to the provider. Plus it's hard for a provider to tell you if she's available for your time and she doesn't even know if your safe to see. I've made that mistake before about speaking of availability then his screening comes through and wow, horrible I must deny.  The hobby process works both ways so to be safe  here is how you can fix this OP, simply screen in advance you will have a higher chance she is available just don't wait until the last minute.

I couldn't agree with you more, cspatz. I joined P411, so that I wouldn't have to reveal my identity. Yet, there are some providers out there who insist on it. I really don't understand why, as they don't reveal their identity to me, right? I've had conversations about this with a couple of providers who insisted on personal details, claiming that P411 is not secure. I just think that they're hurting their business, because there are plenty or providers out there who will see me, just based upon my P411 references.

How is your time wasted by providing screening information?  Many women take it in the form of email, and I have a saved note that I can copy and paste that I send to people.  Takes 10 seconds.  If she has a form to fill out, then it's 1 minute.  And if you get screened and then schedule doesn't work out, at least you are pre-screened for the next time.

Women get tons of messages.  Sometimes hundreds a day.  Most from time wasters.  While it may seem to you like it would take no time for her to email you back and forth about schedule and what services she offers, with a hundred guys asking questions, that adds up to hours and hours wasted on people who will never book.  And often guys are asking basic information that's available on their web site.  

This is the general order things should occur.
1. You look for what info is available on the girl by her site or reviews to determine if you want to see her.
2. You send screening information
3. After you are verified, then you discuss whatever scheduling or general information you couldn't glean from the available info.

And, as was suggested, for shorter notice appointments then you can either use a service like P411 or Date-Check (If she takes them) or get pre-screened.  I have sent out screening information to a dozen women with a message like this.
"I don't usually know my schedule in advance and often need to book with short notice.  Is it ok if I try to reach out to you for a last minute appointment some time?  Here is my screening information.  Just let me know if you are ok with last minute requests or if you would prefer not."

Simple.

Because I truly hate to have MY time wasted, I kind of agree with you Monk

Every day, I get lots of requests for appointments and I like to have my schedule working like a Swiss clock = figured out with harmony with my personal life.
I am low volume, because I have a life outside escorting, so I need to pick my clients carefully and I really don't like to waste their time or mine.
I do my own screening, so when a new client contact me and ask for the date & time he wants right off the bat, is better to coordinate in a way that works for me.
Obviously, I do not discuss graphic stuff before screening but I do ask where he found me and if he did check my website and read my reviews. If he says yes, well, he knows what kind of sessions he will get with me. If he says no, I will suggest to do a bit of research on me before booking.
I think if guys take a bit of time to read the websites and reviews - here is where having VIP on TER is a big help - they will know exactly what the girls are offering.
One of the major issues I encounter is getting requests from guys looking for kinky and domination stuff while I do not offer these things. What it means? The lack of research from their part.
On your specific request of Tease & Denial, of course I would like to know that in advance, so I could be prepared to offer this kind of session for you (actually is one of the things I enjoy and very good at!). But only be asked after a light screening, so I know I am not talking to someone I am not supposed to.
The way I conduct my business is not the same way other girls do. We all have our own ways, so my suggestion is to move on when you hit a 'wall' during the communication. If everything is going smoothly and then you hear crickets, move on!  
BTW, the 'wall' happens from both sides of the game. So, when all is smooth and then a potential client stops responding when I ask for some of his information, I know he doesn't want to screen and I will stop communicating too and move on to book someone else.

+1 I agree with you 100% on this

I see no problem asking the availability question as long as some form of quick verification that you are a part of this community is also provided prior to going through and doing any extensive screening. I find it appreciative especially knowing his particular date request with all the details first, and also respectful on his part that he will have no problem providing the references needed to see me if the chance to meet is there. Keeps from a lot of unnecessary back and forth on both our parts and is a huge time saver I think.  

But unfortunately, not all gents here know how to construct a proper initial email and want to chit chat before anything else. And sometimes with an email that can't even be verifiable.  Thank you for saying this out loud. Maybe you should give lessons on how to construct a simple, to the point initial email to make our lives a tad easier lol.  

The only constant in this variable is that we all screen differently. So we could probably debate this issue until the cows come home lol. There is no right or wrong answer but what works for each of us comfortably.

I agree with the OP

I agree with him on the first part, anyway. The 2nd is a bit touchy. Provided a gent sends a nice introductory email, and not some one-liner "r u available" message, I dont think it's asking too much to find out if the date/time/general location is a go before giving up identifying information.

I wouldn't recommend bringing up any service requests, however vague, until the lady is comfortable discussing it.

First of all, she's not committing. She's acknowledging availability. And that's very helpful information.

Secondly, there are plenty of providers who offer services that aren't already catalogued in reviews on the board. Many don't want to broadcast all the types of services they offer for a wide variety of reasons.  

And, as for revealing identity, perhaps YOU should do YOUR research. I'm the one who has, for years, been advising hobbyists NOT to reveal their identity on this very board.

WC, over the years you and I have agreed on most issues, but here we disagree. Just as providers go through lots of emails, as I know you're very well aware (because we've had exchanges in the past), if you're searching for providers who offer very specific types of services and sessions (those that might be out of the norm), it's easy to be in the situation of having to contact many, many different providers in order to find the one or two who offer the types of services you're looking for. And this can lead to lots and lots of emails. So, in fact, it does waste my time. And, if you want an appointment within a small window (even a couple of days), that can cause all sorts of other difficulties as you wait for email responses.

In addition, I've found on a number of occassions providers who get very aggressive about booking an appointment once they have screened you. So, if I offer screening info, but then ask a few basic questions about services, they get upset -- even abusive -- via email. (And note, please, that I'm always discrete and polite.) Don't think that if you use a screening service that this won't then get reported back to the service. Suddenly, you're now listed as a "time waster." It's infuriating.

Well, my typical first request email would say something to the effect that I've read your site, I'm interested in seeing you in this locale, I'm available at this time, are you? And, also, I'm interested in some very specific services along these lines, I can go into more detail if you like. It's short, sweet, polite and to the point. I also list the screening service I'm listed with. Basically, all the initial info a provider would need to at least understand that this is a serious request.

The reason I'll bring up a service request right away is that I've gotten responses in the past to the effect of "Sorry, I don't do that sort of thing. Good luck." That's stops the conversation right there and neither of us have expended much effort.
