I know many providers will hate me for saying this BUT hobbyists, beware of the providers who make dates and don't become available. There are many reasons and there are variable factors that one can never predict. So if you have time constraints and you have no experience with or know of her reliability,  the simple remedy is to make two appointments  with 2 different providers for the same date and time. Confirm a few hours prior to the date and should both be available, then simply cancel one, apologizing for the short notice cancellation due to a personal emergency. While this practice is wholly frowned upon by all providers, nonetheless, one need not necessarily believe the following T-Shirt picture. Remember the golden rule...He who has the gold makes the rule. So be it.(I am now prepared to receive extensive responses from very pissed off providers...so go for it ladies).

If you were supposed to meet, maybe she was waiting for you to call?  Regardless, if you had an appointment, and you didn't hear from her, you should have reached out.   If you did, and she never responded, you should be annoyed (she would be the roles were reversed), and you should let her know that if/when she responds.   As for whether Plan B worked out...hope so!

I generally prefer to see independent ladies who have more going on in their lives than escorting.  I find such women are far more genuine and interesting, and much of the time, they are just as excited by the prospects of a "fantasy date" as I am.

However, sometimes real life intrudes on our fantasy world, and dates have to be cancelled.  As in all areas of life, if plans change simple courtesy requires a telephone call, text or email to notify the other party.  Oh, and sometimes, it's me who has to cancel for the same reason - real life.  

Common courtesy is appropriate in such cases.  Nothing more.

Just wanted to give some friendly advice to a fellow hobbyist.  As for the two ladies that I know well who went off on tangents in support of other hobbyists, I don't think there's any blowback in this direction.  

I read about indy providers standing up clients and it always suprises me. Unless the girl got into a car accident, I dont see how someone can be on their way and not show up. If she doesnt want to see the guy (which maybe she found something out about the OP) she should just say she isnt coming.

I would expect this from low-end agencies but not an independent.  

Us ladies are CONSTANTLY being stood up. And as Lianna pointed out, it especially sucks when you have rented a room or paid for your time at your incall location, paid for a sitter and or travelled. It sucks no matter who it happens too no matter what they are charging or paying. And it happens on both sides of the coin. ( so to speak)
