Three days ago, I posted a critique of Luigi, with a terrible review of one of his bogus "Luigi's Picks." Why didn't you post this thread? Do you and Cityvibe have some kind of sleazy mercenary relationship? This completely, utterly violates the purpose of TER -- to protect hobbyists from rip-offs. Any protection you give to "Luigi" is a total betrayal of TER and all its members.
NYC Discussion Board Ad Guidelines
Providers, please read the following guidelines before posting an ad on TER discussion boards:
1) You may post one ad per week. (Escort agencies may post one
ad per week per city they serve.)
When visiting the New York area, you may also post one ad per
week on that board to announce your visit. Please, include the dates of your visit in the subject line of your ad. (This is very helpful, and has been the #1 request from hobbyists!)
Please help us keep it fair by reporting violations of the
limit to the me (Blur) or to Girl Next Door.
2. You may place your ad on any of the regional boards,
including Other Cities, that are closest to the area you
service or are touring. Porn Stars may advertise on the
Porn Star board, and TSs should advertise on the Transexual
board. Unsolicited ads are not allowed on other TER
discussion boards, including the National Discussion Board.
3. Your ad must include a link that goes directly to your
online ad or website, and your website must have your phone
number or email address on it. Ads that do not provide a
valid, working link will be deleted. The link must work when
the Moderator reads it, so please check it carefully when posting.
4. You must post your own ads. Ads posted by other parties will be deleted.
5. Please do not write in ALL CAPS.
6. TER Moderators may delete ads after they expire.
TER Moderators may, at their discretion and judgement, delete any ads that, in their opinion, do not follow these guidelines.
By participating in the discussions on TER discussion boards, you can greatly increase your visibility and give potential clients the opportunity to get to know you better. You may include the link to your webpage in messages you contribute to any TER discussion board, and that does not count as an ad. In fact, you are encouraged to include your link, because it helps everyone get to know you better. Just please make those "linked" messages meaningful, fun or helpful contributions.
Thank you,

Three days ago you posted this call for a class action suit, and I approved it...This is the only "terrible review" I've seen.
I rarely disallow posts, and I try to write to the provider/hobbyist first to explain my reasons and give time for edits or appeals. I always save any messages "on-hold" for a reasonable amount of time, waiting for a response.
In your case, there is no e-mail so I'm responding publically, even allowing the board to see your wild accusations of collusion and betrayal. In short, I've never deleted your posts.
But, as I looked through your recent history, I probably should have. I often have to ask hobbyists to post a detailed provider review in the proper sections. Its a great diservice to your fellow hobbyists to simply rant on this Board, rather than make the effort to provide the details that will help everyone.
I look forward to your continued participation in the TER NYC Community.

Blur,
OK, I retract what I said, but I respectfully make the following simple suggestions:
1. TER has links on Cityvibe's NYC site, which would appear to be paid advertising. Cityvibe NY persists in its "Luigi" deception, which is unique to its New York site. TER should remove its links until Cityvibe NYC discontinues the "Luigi" deception.
2. Whenever a provider posts on TER's Discussion Board, search her name and phone number in advance for reviews. If she has rip-off reviews or mostly bad reviews, don't put up her post. If you think this is too intrusive, just include a link to reviews for all providers posting availability on the Discussion Board. This way, hobbyists can easily screen out problem providers. Of late, NY's Discussion Board has included a number of provider availability posts from problem providers such as Geisha House aka Asian Girlfriends, Alyssa, and others.
Other hobbyists, please register your views here. Do you agree with these suggestions?

Why should a moderator do this level of work, with all the subjective power you suggest to determine who should be allowed to post based on the even more subjective reviews?
I think you are taking these situations way too seriously, my friend...This is just a discussion board for people interested in a very cool hobby, not a consumer advocacy site for adult entertainment.
In its current form TER is a really great system. If you see an ad, you may look for the reviews in the review section or not, believe the reviews or not, then you may call the provider or not, post a review or not, its all up to you...what a country

TER has links on Cityvibe's NY website. Does TER derive membership income as a result?
Unfortunately it looks like your attempt to purchase VIP membership has failed due to your card being declined. Good news is that we have several other payment options that you could try.
We thank you for your purchase!
Membership should be activated shortly. You'll receive notification!
