I just had an interesting experience. I tried to book an appointment the other night and there was a mixup, as it appeared that i didn't actually have an appointment, even though it appeared that the provider instructed me to let her know when I was coming, which I did. I apologized and told her that I was looking forward to seeing her again. However, I think that she took it personally. When I tried to rebook, I received a text stating "Due to several girls reporting incidents with bad clients last weekend I will only see established regular clients at the moment...or new clients who are willed to go through an extensive screening process." I asked about the screening and the requirements are photo ID, selfie pic of me holding same ID, any work related info (website, work email, work phone, Linkedin profile), 3 provider references (from past 3 months), no unregistered or burner phones.
I asked about the incidents and she said that it was robberies and assault. If that's happening in the industry, it's just awful. However, since I thought that this was personal, I asked her who the providers were and she called me (on my burner phone, lol) and asked me why it was so important to me. I thought that, if these incidents were real and that the providers were sharing them, they wouldn't mind sharing them with me. Of course, she couldn't name the providers and I called her out on it. Has anyone heard anything from this past weekend?
Obviously, this isn't a provider worth seeing and it will be interesting to see if she gets any new reviews. She claims to have a lot of regular clients and, if so, good for her. I told her that only an idiot would provide all of that information and that there were plenty of reputable providers who will see me, based upon my references. After all, that's how this business works, right? I learned my lesson a few years ago, when I had a provider blackmailing me, threatening to call LE, etc. Fortunately, she didn't have my personal info.
Guys, please think twice, three, four, five times, before providing any personal info. Your life could be ruined. Is it worth it for an hour or whatever?
