Hi Everyone,  

Being one of the busiest cities in the world, there's just so many reasons to love NYC.  On the other hand, establishing and setting up shop as a companion can be overwhelming!  

TER, having being such a reputable review board in America, is essential for business for a companion.  However, how would one go about starting off as a "newbie" companion in the city. Without reviews to support how "amazing" one is, it seems to be difficult to build a client base.  

Any suggestions?  

 
Would you suggest working for an agency in the beginning to rack up some reviews? What are the "top" NYC agencies

Do you have a website? I could be your first review if you want? I don't want to say a review by me is the best thing in the world but it definitely will help.  The bigger the fish you catch early the easier the transition will be. Or so I think.

I don't want to give you bad advice to join an agency I would make friends with someone who can guide you that's technically how I started.

Look up Roxanne Heart NYC. She would give you the best advice. She won't lie to you and she will be straight up with you.

Hi there

I am on  my way to NYC now! It will be my first trip and i am a little nervous as well being my first time. I had a good trip in boston and since i am a west coast girl I thought i would hit NYC before i head home to sunny California. We have sun and no water and you have lots of water but no sun.

Worst case i will go shopping

You have a profile and reviews. Since your last review was in 2011, I'd assume you are returning to the biz after a hiatus?

Perhaps start by contacting TER to make sure your profile is accurate... age, menu, etc.  

Joining P411, Date-Check, helps a hobbyist to feel comfortable with you even if your reviews are older. If you have a provider friend or two who will vouch for you that is an easy thing to do.

I think the "new you" needs a new review or two to let folks know who you are now. Preferably by a known reviewer (maybe with a whitelist or two of his own?) in your area.

I don't think an agency will necessarily help you get a new review or two, but it may help keep the phone ringing in the near term. If you stay indy, simply post regularly and chat up some known reviewers and ask all clients to review.  

Last, your review numbers vary widely. You are the only one who can make them consistent and high. That is up to you.

Good luck

1. Post your ad on NYC ad board every seven days like clock work.

2. Post on this board and engage in the convo.

3. Ask the guys you do see to write you a review.  

4. Do everything you reasonably can to make your first few reviews good ones.

5. Post a pic often on the photo board.

6. Post on the GD board but be careful, there are some real assholes over there.

7. Stay out of drama. I can't stress that enough. Guys hate drama.

8. Update your pics every so often.

9. Attend a meet and great in the city.

10. Improve your website but that can wait.

11. Join p411 for credibility.

You have a good look, low rates so be patient, follow the above and your chances of success will skyrocket.

Thank you guys so very much!!! I can't stress how much this has assisted me! I will definitely start to organize myself to make my way out there. For now I'll continue to figure out how to navigate this site and make some new friends.

Welcome aboard👍 , As a member VP of TER for 15 years , you came right choice for advice . board discussion can guide with right direction .. NYC is the best City of the world , but keep in mind of bad fake apples like everywhere else.
