if you have an appointment with a provider but that day you got a cold sore?  do you cancel?

If ever before an appointment with me you get a cold sore on your mouth please cancel.
Cold sores are different than genital hepies but I still would prefer to avoid contact with them.
If your too embarassed to say hey I have a cold sore on my lip then just say an unexpected meeting came up. Isn't that the standard excuse you guys give us for cancelations? (a little humor fellas)lol

I'm speaking in general of course not specifically to you per say.
